The house was wonderful and well stocked. It was so quiet that most the time all you heard was the wind through the trees and the birds. The deer and elk came into view most every morning and evening and occasionally turkeys with their little ones would venture by. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home. I hope to come back again to Pagosa Springs it was beautiful.

Spectacular cabin

After a few different cabins me and my family had stayed around pagosa springs and south fork, we found to be this one our favorite, the cabin itself it’s amazing and the whole property that allowed us to hike around the house was great, we will definitely come back

Family Get Away

This vacation spot was perfect for our family of 6, from the easy check-in process to the cozy and comfortable home. The cabin was spotless. The location of the cabin was close to the area where my husband and sons go hunting yearly which was great.

Comfort and beauty

This house is extremely comfortable and absolutely beautiful. The fabulous large covered porch is the perfect place to take in the beauty of the mountains and the ever-changing sky. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely return for another visit.

Great House, Great Location

This was our second time staying at this VRBO (Spring of 2023 and August 2024). This a great house with wonderful views and plenty of space to be together but not too close. It is a well thought out rental. We will be back 😊 The welcome gift is always a bonus!

This is a hidden gem! We ran across this home because it had an rv hook up as well. The view, the cleanliness, the communication was all spectacular! Exceeded our expectations!! We all highly recommend renting this place! Didn’t want to leave!!

Beautiful, peaceful, cabin/home

This home is so well decorated and supplied. Very comfortable. Lots of cozy blanket's. Gas fireplace and a bonus of games in the garage. Along with a sofa and TV! View is exceptional! Saw Turkey. Deer and Elk.

This cabin was perfect for everything we needed and more for our fam of 5. The property manager was responsive and informative even with a simple, kind reminder to drink plenty of water. My ONLY hesitation in “letting the cat out of the bag” about how wonderful it is, is fear we want to come again it’s all booked!

Perfection!

We wanted our kids to experience a true Winter Christmas and we hit the jackpot! Having the space for kids to run around in the snow and play was just perfect. Wolf Creek was a short drive. Polar Express in Durango was magical! Of course the town of Pagosa is just so charming. The house was equipped with everything. My mom and I cooked every day. The fire, the blankets, all of it was just just perfect! Can’t wait to book again!

Sounds far away, but so close to town

Can’t say enough about this wonderful property. Let’s start with the elk that make their way through the property every other day, the house was so perfectly placed you can see everything from the valley. The cleanliness was the best of the best, we’ve stayed at a lot of places and this place was CLEAN… even by our standards which are actually quite high. We were welcomed by a fun welcome basket with a favorite bottle of wine of mine and some of the best honey we’ve ever had (and we have honey bees!!) that’s saying something. Loved this place and it was so close to town it was crazy, doesn’t seem like it’s in the country at all. It’s the perfect blend of town and country!! We would recommend this place to anyone, our teenager very seldomly thinks things are impressive and she even commented on it. Can’t go wrong with staying here. What a wonderful experience for our family. Thank y’all!!

Great house

This house far exceeded our expectations. Tons of space and great amenities. The kitchen was great and supplied with quality cookware. We loved the peaceful deck and the games we could enjoy as a family. We were able conveniently make day trips to Durango, Chimney Rocks, a the springs in town.

Perfect rental

I stayed here a few years ago, and it was so great I had to go back. If anything, the property amenities have improved, which I didn't think possible. The owners and manager of the property are super communicative and caring. Next time I visit the area I will absolutely stay here again.

Peaceful and quiet!

Absolutely love this place!!! It’s in the country surrounded by mountains and hills that we was able to hike! Our little one who is autistic was able to play outside on the porch and have a blast. The host answered all our questions in a friendly and timely manner. The house was clean and had everything we needed and so many games inside and outside we could play. We seen all kinds of wildlife with the prairie dogs being our favorite! I highly recommend staying here, we will when we come back. So awesome!

Wow! What a place

This is by far the best VRBO rental we have ever been to. I could not believe how well stocked the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry room were. The welcome basket was a nice treat. The house is gorgeous and the quiet location phenomenal. We normally are ready to come home after vacations, but not this time. We could have stayed longer.

Perfect

If you like coffee at sunrise and a glass of wine at sunset this is the place for you. I brought my wife and 2 boys (4th grade and 7th grade) for their first trip west. This place made the trip extra special. The views, the elk, and the wildlife in general (bring set of binoculars or a spotting scope) surrounding this property are fantastic. The drive to "town" is minimal and a good grocery store is close. We would love to come back.

Cannot say enough wonderful things about this property! Kitchen has everything you can think of to cook, kids can run around outside, town less than 15 min drive. A dream home in the mountains!

Perfect getaway

The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. The deck was our favorite place and we spent many hours there, taking in the beautiful view and being amazed by the quietness. If you want to get away from the noise and close quarters of in-town living, this is a perfect place to go.
