Lake Yellowstone Hotel and Cabins
10/10 Excellent
"For a historic property that is the oldest in Yellowstone National Park, this hotel is impressively maintained. The setting on the shore of Yellowstone Lake is outstanding. We enjoyed having dinner in the Sun Bar while the sun was setting over the beautiful lake. Breakfast the next morning in the Dining Room was great. We stayed here for only 1 night on the second day of a 3-day, 2-night trip from our base in Big Sky, MT. We had taken time to drive the incredible Beartooth Scenic Highway west to east and then stay in Red Lodge for 1 night. The next day, we drove through Cody (where we spent most of the day at the superb Buffalo Bill Center of the West) to re-enter the NP and then spend a night at this hotel. The location of the hotel fit our needs perfectly since we wanted to be in the park to spend an entire day touring Yellowstone Lake, Fishing Bridge, Canyon, and West Thumb. Staff members here are friendly, helpful and efficient."

Wapiti Valley Wayfarer- family mountain retreat in Wapiti
10/10 Excellent
"The Wapiti Wayfarer house was very nice and clean. Bath towels were provided, as were coffee filters, and bath soap and shampoo. The kitchen had a good set of cookware, etc. and the grill worked great. Very nice experience for our family."
Green Creek Inn and RV Park
8/10 Good
"The room was decorated nicely! The only negative is that the hinges on the bathroom door needs to be lubricated…a little squeaky."
Cozy Cabin On The Creek - Now with internet!!!
10/10 Excellent
"We visited this area for two nights. The cabin was well marked and easy to find. The cabin is very clean and cozy. It had a very down home feel. It’s not fancy but it gives you a comfortable relaxed feeling right away. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen is very spacious and easy to work in. Everything you need is in the kitchen, although a large frying pan might be a great addition and maybe another good spatula. I made a meal in the kitchen on the first night and found it very simple to do. The real highlights of the cabin are the very comfortable bed, even though it is a smaller queen size bed, the vigorous shower with bountiful hot water, and the perfectly delightful back porch area with a very friendly squirrel in attendance! The host was also very great at communications and very helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay immensely."
