Nice but noisy
Very nice place by the main street. It can be quite noisy at night as lots of young people are partying. Small breakfast but enough with home made butter and different fruits.

We had a lovely stay at Pai Country Hut, very good location, very quiet, very clean and great relaxing feel. We booked 3 and stayed 6 nights. Pai was one of our favourite places. Walking street just across bridge were you are spoiled for choice

Nice clean and new bungalows set in a tranquil garden setting. Close to the centre of town and the nightly walking street but far enough away to be very quiet. Bamboo huts are eco friendly also. The supplied free breakfast is pretty spartan but will satisfy all but the fussiest guests. Getting there by car or motorbike takes 5 minutes from the town centre but the property is only 3 minutes walk from town as there is a bamboo foot bridge close by. Highly recommend this property.

Lovely huts in peaceful setting
Overall, a really lovely stay. The huts are beautiful and set in such a relaxing and peaceful place, whilst being less than 5 min walk from the walking street! Can’t be helped with a hut, we had a few big bugs in the room, but there is the best bug net ever over the bed so no issues at all! Rooms stay surprisingly cool with just a fan too. Free tea, coffee and water throughout the day was a lovely extra too, along with the free breakfast.

Second time staying here. It’s a cozy and fun place on the river and a quick walk to the walking street. It’s simple so if you are expecting the Four Seasons, this will not be for you.

Well on arrival the receptionist was very welcoming helped us to our hut which was very clean and to top it off there is a free breakfast tea & coffee free from 7.30am till 8.30pm and drinking water which was a very nice surprise

Best deal for the money in Pai
For aesthetics and sheer natural beauty for the money it doesn't get any better. As an artist myself the grounds are truly a work of art. The care that is invested in the landscaping and cultivation of the grounds is unsurpassed. The owner and front staff speak pretty good english, a bug plus. They are very nice and quite charming. For location it's just enough removed from the main town to give it a woodsy quiet feel, but a very short walk to the river and bamboo bridge to town makes it the best of both worlds. The huts are arranged village style, easy to chat with one's neighbors, travelers from all over the world. The free coffee and continental breakfast area has a great ambience with birds singing along to some quiet melodic house music, just the way to start your day.

Hot but cute huts
The huts are really cute, kept very clean and comfortable. The only downside is that because they are huts there is no AC and only one ceiling fan that doesn't move around, so they were pretty hot during the day and most of the night until it was really cold, but then quickly hot again. However, that heat made it really easy to want to be outside on the porch/in the hammock. There aren't any chairs on the porches but we sat right on the floor and that was great. Another thing about the huts is that you can hear EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing//what's going on outside, but they enforce the 10pm quiet hours strictly. Wish they had a morning cap as well, we had neighbor who was quite the vocalist. Overall a really enjoyable stay!

A beautiful little hut on the east side of the Pai River, away from the noise of the walking street. Beds are not the most comfortable but the atmosphere more than makes up for any minor discomforts. WiFi is stable.

A central but also a quiet and relaxing place
This was my secondat stay at the Pai Country Hut and I can only highly recommend the place! It’s central though not on the Main Street which you appreciate if you would like some quietness as well. Really nice huts in beautiful surroundings. Also, the place includes a simple but good breakfast. I will look forward to my next visit, for sure!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pai Country Huts. The location is fantastic - only a 5 min walk from the main food/shopping roads - but it feels like a lot further away as the site is lovely and quiet. The hut itself was really nice (TBH better than the photos we saw on this site!), and we enjoyed the basic free breakfast.

Beautiful well kept grounds
We love pai and this hut was basic, cute and relaxing! The terrace was a great place to chill in the hammock with a beer. The hut itself is simple, but definitely a chance to be at one with nature (lots of creepy crawlies included, eek!). With just a fan the room can get very hot at night so our sleep wasn’t the best but great for a night or two!

Lovely oasis in busy Pai
Pai is a busy touristy town so it was lovely to stay at these bungalows in a quiet spot just over the river. The lawn the bungalows was situated round was lovely so it was great to spend time lounging in the hammock outside. Bed was big and comfortable and the hot shower worked well. Loved the character of the place. Prices do vary a lot dependent on season/business - I looked at booking another couple of days and the price had more than doubled.

I stayed in 3 places in Pai. This was the cheapest, simplest, and closest to town. Staying in a bamboo hut just over the river from town was great. The walking street is just over a bamboo bridge. No AC, but the fan was fine. I had an ensuite that was decent by Thai standards. The balcony area with hammock was great for chatting with people I met. Fairly quiet, too. Tip - bring earplugs, as bamboo walls won't block noise from other huts (This tip applies for anywhere in Thailand, actually. Scooters, music, etc.)

Fun way to stay in Pai
I want to make it clear to people interested in this place: IT IS NOT A HOTEL. Think of it more like camping! There are bugs, lizards, and mosquitoes, although none are overwhelming in the rooms. The beds are fairly comfortable. There is no AC, so I don't recommend this to people who want to sit in their rooms during the day. It gets HOT. But Pai is cold at night and the fan in the room is enough to satisfy. The personal hammocks were what really made me fall in love with this place. Breakfast was great and so was location. Definitely recommend but only to those who are brave!

Amazing stay at the Pai Country Hut! The bungalows were super comfy and had everything you could need. The staff were super friendly and helped us arrange all our activities. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk into the centre of town. Perfect spot.

The property is beautiful! Service is excellent. They should check everything is working before check in. First, the water from hand washing sink run right to the floor, then the shower has no hot water, but they fixed them after I told them.

Thai style huts.
Pai Country Hut, in a great position, is just a short walk over the bamboo walking bridge from Walking Street (alive with street food, markets and bars every evening) and other great restaurants and cafes, but far enough away to be peaceful. The included breakfast is great and free tea and coffee are available all day. The huts themselves are 'Thai style' bamboo structures, and are very comfortable for two. The bamboo floor is springy and a little noisy to walk on, but this is all part of the charm.

Perfect location, ONCE YOU FIND IT!! Make sure you have a good map or GPS because it's a little difficult to find. Once there, it's amazing. You can walk to the town across the bamboo bridge or to the fun little hostel next door. Highly recommend. Keep in mind, it is exactly what it says it is, a hut. This is not the Four Seasons but it is super fun and well maintained property.

We stayed at Pai Country Hut based off a recommendation from a friend, and we were not disappointed! If you're looking for a cute, quaint place to stay that is more low key, off the grid, then I recommend Pai Country Hut! Yes I know they offer free WiFi, but we spent the majority of our stay exploring Pai as opposed to hanging out in the room enjoying creature comforts. It's an ideal location set back from the hustle and bustle of Pai's streets, but convenient enough with just a 5 minute walk to the action. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place - perfect location!
Would recommend to anyone! Perfect location only two minutes from the town centre, but still very quiet and safe. Toilets and rooms very clean and well maintained. Worth a stay!
