"Magical, authentic Hawaii experience "

"Very stylish and clean place and location was walkable to everything in town. Only real complaint was that neither mattress was particularly comfortable, and there must have been 100 roosters nearby that woke us up every night starting at sometimes 2-3 AM. We knew we weren’t going to sleep past 5 am or so for the remainder of the trip by the first night. Not anyone’s fault but felt it was fair to share! Great place. "

"This property exceeded our expectations in every way! It was the perfect spring break retreat for our family of 6 with plenty of space. Well-equipped, cozy and charming in every way! Seamless check-in and responsive host when needed. Loved reading about the history of the home, which was featured in a book on the coffee table. It was GREAT to have a pool in the back yard while the baby napped. The front yard was like a tropical paradise! I would strongly suggest checking out the Salt Pond Beach close by, great for families with small children. The property provides everything you'd need for a day at the beach! There are PLENTY of towels for beach and pool. Quality towels!! Our granddaughter called this her Hawaii White House! Looking forward to another stay!"

Our party of seven adults had plenty of space, and we cooked many delicious meals in the massive kitchen. We spent our early mornings and evenings hanging out on the comfy front porch furniture."

"We had a wonderful stay at Kuhio Shores 301. The view and sound of the ocean from the balcony draws you in. The hosts have thought of everything as far as supplies, including beach chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella. Our hosts were so gracious by letting us stay late on our final day, as we weren’t flying out until late that night. We’re grateful for them and for this home-away-from-home!"

"We had an incredible stay in Waimea. The house was clean, comfortable and well stocked and we felt like we had a private beach, watching the sunset every night was a highlight and even though the water isn’t good for swimming our kids loved playing along the waters edges.The location is walking distance to a number of lunch and dinner spots great for takeout and it’s easy access to the Waimea Canyon. This area is not very touristy, more residential and quiet at night. Highly recommend for folks looking for an experience away from resorts and busy beaches."

"Perfect Kauai getawayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the house. It is comfortable and very cozy. The house was built after WWII so it had tons of charm. So nice to be in a quiet neighborhood and just relax to the sound of the waves, birds, roosters and the pond in the backyard. The house had everything we needed from the stocked kitchen, grill and beach stuff. The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable. The house was easy access to everything we wanted to do. It was nice to not be caught up with all the tourists. Exploring is part of the fun so just driving and stopping at the little towns was great. Anywhere you drive is so beautiful from the ocean, the flora, fauna, Waimea Canyon and the relaxing vibe of the small towns. Debra was very welcoming and a great host. We enjoyed visiting with her and Liko. Hoku, the dog was so sweet and we loved our visits from him.Highly recommend this property!!"
