Madrid Hotel Guide - Palacio de Goyeneche hotels in Madrid, Spain.

"These are apartment-style rooms with various floor plans. Pool, vending machines, and tennis courts. Pool looked very clean but we went during February, so it was closed. Very close to airport but far from city center. Public transit is relatively simple to navigate. Short walk to the local mall Plenilunio, for food and shopping— convenient for us to spend some time there before checking in. Front desk staff were accommodating. We were able to drop off our luggage before our check-in time. We stayed in 2 different rooms, both with a living room and kitchen. Walls are pretty thin and you can here noises and doors slamming in the hallways. The rooms are clean but the building themselves seem older with some minor cracks on along the walls and ceilings. Elevators are available. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, it was very relaxing and nice to have separate rooms in the same apartment. "

"We selected this property because we wanted to be near the airport for a morning flight. Turns out, despite being in a commercial area without anything within walking distance, it's still about a fifteen minute drive from the airport. This wasn't a problem for us, since the property arranged a free shuttle that left on time. However, the property itself doesn't have much to recommend it. As noted, the area is of no interest. An active construction site is next door. The staff is more efficient than friendly. The interior common areas and room itself lack any charm or warmth; they're purely functional. No pictures on the wall. There's a restaurant with forgettable food. The room was clean and of decent size, and the large bed was firm, but there were zero amenities--no toothbrush or shaver, let alone slippers or robe (but a sign invites you to ask at the front desk for unspecified items). You're instructed to use your towels multiple times (rather than offered the option). In short, it's designed to offer a bed and shower and little more for a traveler wanting nothing more than to be near the airport, although it's not extremely close to the airport. "

"Excellent location in the city center with easy access to public transportation. Room was clean, nice and spacious. Hair dryer sucked, something to be improved. The view from the 360 restaurant and bar on the 27th floor was stunning."

"Room was good size. Bed was comfortable. 10 euro w bolt to airport. Breakfast was very good! Staff friendly. Located near a number of cute restaurants which we went to and food was very good. Train was 8 minute walk. Would recommend and would stay there again!"

"If you are looking for a lovely, clean, very comfortable hotel near the Madrid airport, this is a wonderful option! 5 star review ! We had a great free breakfast before flying out. Highly recommend! This hotel is not in a neighborhood. It is what you’re expect near an airport- rather industrial area. It does take a bit longer to get to the airport than you’d think because you have to drive all the way around to the other side. About 4.5 miles I believe. "

"This a cheap airport hotel so its not for a romantic trip. I used it as a I had a morning flight after 3 days at a very smart hotel in the centre of Madrid. The hotel is Danish owned. The rooms are gloomy with heavy concrete pillars sprouting through the room but the shower pressure was good and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel has a restaurant but the fare is pretty poor for dinner and breakfast is not much better. It was however a good place to lay ones head over night before returning to the airport. Incidentally this hotel is not exactly close to the airport taking 15 minutes by cab. The shuttle must be pre booked if you are incoming or booked the night before ones departure. I read that the cost is 6 Euros and the departure time are not regular."
