Unique and peaceful

A VERY unique and comfortable one night stay before we headed onto the 3 day orangutan jungle cruise. This place was personally built like a robinson caruso-like habitat. Room was clean, comfortable, a.c., quiet (aside from local mosque prayer broadcast), and the clientele were interesting world travelers. Great home made Meals were available as well upon request. Neighborhood had nothing to offer tourists, but we were VERY content to enjoy the peaceful ambiance of the establishment. Small dipping pool and reading area were peaceful and enjoyable. Owners were not there, but the staff was friendly and helpful. HIGHLY recommended as a staging hang for nearby orangutan park boat trip.

Bukit Raya Stay - Great!

Really unique and special place, with lovely hosts and staff, and a great place to explore central Kalimantan from. Some really good restaurants nearby too! Coming back next year
