I've stayed at Marriott Desert Springs villas every year, and I always book a 1 bedroom so that there is a separate sleeping space. Which is perfect for my needs. Be aware that while this is listed as a 1 bedroom it is actually a studio without a separate bedroom. Otherwise the location is great the space while not ideal for my needs was nice.
