Thanksgiving Week
We stayed here for a family reunion. It was just perfect for us and the hosts were great. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, cookware and appliances. Would love to stay here again.

Not worth the money.
I have owned many vacation rentals. My properties were always stocked with everyday essentials and they were always spotless clean. This property was not only filthy dirty there was not even a roll of paper towels.
Owner didn't seem to care much at all. The pictures that are posted are 100% inaccurate. This property is not worth the money. There are so many others in this Country Club that far superior and less money.

Love the community, wont stay with owner again.
First off this was my second time staying in one of the owners units. This unit has serious issues. Main slider to patio doesn't open. Every screen needs to be replaced/repaired. Lights were burnt out etc. Outlets intermittant. Unit needs serious updating as kitchen is original (40 years old) with 15 year old appliances.
But my real issue was with the owner. She refuses to pay a reimbursement she agreed to pay. She also refuses to issue a credit she agreed to when for the second year in a row a utility, this time electricity, was shut off for non-payment. Now she refuses to communicate with me or even VRBO support. I had even made accomodations for her to have open houses and showings because she was trying to sell the unit but now she will not respond and reimburse what she agreed to.
I love Monterey Country Club and have stayed there for 3 winters but will never rent from this owner again. I would highly recommend the community but not in her properties.
