This is the quintessential vacation paradise --- a Gorgeous Midcentury to Next-Century transformation that would make even Frank swoon. Beds: K, K, T/T This classic Meiselman (circa 1959) has been lovingly restored - respecting its architectural pedigree while updating it for the way we live today. The original open concept floor plan, post and beam ceilings, and walls of glass have been preserved while adding modern conveniences like high speed internet access, updated heating and cooling, and flat screen televisions. OUTDOOR LIVING SPACES This property captures the magic of Southern California glamour. Fresh, current and on trend with a subtle understated elegance. The backyard itself is a slice of heaven. Completely walled and gated for privacy… secluded, spacious and well-planned. The inground pool is gorgeous with its soft-blue surface and integrated spa. Comfortable chaise loungers, upholstered outdoor sofas and a covered dining pavilion are perfect for lazy days by the pool and long evenings under the stars. The primary suite offers a king-sized bed, an en suite bath, and direct access to an outdoor courtyard with direct pool access. There are two guest rooms - one King and the other with two twin beds that can be converted into a King upon request. Both guest rooms share easy access to a full bathroom in the hallway. THE LOCATION Racquet Club Estates is a very popular residential neighborhood that is close to the airport, convention center, and casino. We had an amazing stay! My family did not want to leave. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable (huge plus), and the views were amazing.
We loved the pool, fire pit and bathrooms. I would definitely stay here again.
The home is exactly as pictured and was great for our needs. Extremely well-equipped kitchen and grill and we ended up cooking many of our meals at home, which we aren’t often able to do when traveling. The yard area is fantastic, the pool and hot tub worked perfectly and the mountain views were great. Acme Management was responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay there again!

The house was wonderful, neighborhood great and we had a wonderful stay. The pictures clearly depict what a wonderful place this is.
I stay in lots of VRBOs and this was one of the best. If you are looking for beautiful property, great location, well appointed kitchen, and wonderful yard with pool, fire pit, jacuzzi, outdoor furniture and great ambiance, this is it.
My tennis partner, myself and our spouses stayed here. The outdoor living spaces are amazing. We spent a ton of time in the pool and hot tub. We would eat outside every night. We had planned to go into town and eat but it was super enjoyable staying at the house. There was a gas fire pit that was beautiful but it wasn't the right temperature for us to use. The house is fantastically stocked. We cooked many dinners at home and had everything we needed. The kitchen space is a bit small but super functional and again, fully loaded and modern and updated. The owner/renal company were incredibly responsive with any question I sent. It was an EXCELLENT house and we would absolutely rent that same house if were were to go back there. Lastly, it is super close to downtown which was convenient when we chose to go into town.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It is impeccably designed, well equipped, and spotless. The outdoor space - with the pool, hot tub, and fire pit -- is perfect for a relaxing vacation.

This home was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was perfect for our long weekend stay in Palm Springs. I liked it so much that I will likely stay here again in the future. The property management company was very responsive to our questions and easy to work with.
Beautifully updated property both inside and out ! The only hiccups were the entry coding system took several tries to open every time we entered the home and the entry step(two) should be highlighted with paint .
We have stayed in several properties over the years in Palm Springs. This house has the best yard set up I've seen. We enjoyed the pool everyday along with the BB-Q and comfortable seating for everybody. Quiet neighborhood. The inside of the house has a nice layout with the master away from the other bedrooms. Well equipped galley kitchen with a back door to the BB-Q. Overall very happy with this home.
Happy Hour was a great house for our family. Everything was as described or better in terms of the house itself; we loved the pool and hot tub with the mountain view in particular. But what set this apart from other VRBO experiences was the property management by Acme. They checked in several times, responded immediately when we needed another blender (I guess we like our smoothies too thick??), and were above-and-beyond accommodating. We very much enjoyed our time there and if/when we stay in the area again, we would absolutely rent another ACME property.
We love this house! It feels like everything has been very well-thought out of what a guest may need. Everything is in good order and condition too. We did have two problems on this past stay however - our entry code did not work upon arrival (however they got us in with a new code within 20 minutes). The tvs were a bit cumbersome and only worked 70% of the time. My recommendation would be to streamline all 4 tvs and use the same remote for each. Other than that we enjoyed a our second stay a lot.
The Happy Hour house and property were well maintained. It is within a short driving distance of downtown Palm Springs and is in a very quiet neighborhood, mainly due to noise ordinance I'm sure. It was disappointing to not be able to have music while enjoying the pool and fire pit. We also did not care for the rain head shower heads as they seem to have lower water pressure. Overall, the house did not disappoint and the ACME staff were always quick to respond to my text messages. Check-in and out could not have been easier.
We stayed here during part of our "baby moon" and the property did not disappoint. It's very clean inside, has great amenities, and is close proximity to downtown. There was a hiccup with the pool & spa, which are controlled by an app, but the management company was good about rectifying. For us, it was not a big deal as we were just looking to decompress and have a place to relax, but I would definitely recommend reading the Palm Springs rental rules/policies, which apparently apply to any homeowner renting their property out in Palm Springs (e.g, no outdoor music at any level, noise that can be heard from property lines during certain times, etc.). It was our first stay in the area, and admittedly, I glossed over that as part of the rental. I imagine it all depends on who the neighbors are as far as how it's enforced, but if you're looking to have a group of people hanging outdoors or cannot deal with not being able to listen to music by the pool or fire pits via anything but headphones, it may be worth asking some follow-up questions to any management company or owner to make sure you fully understand what's allowed and what's not!!
The "Happy Hour" house should be renamed Utopia . . . my friend and I truly enjoyed our 4 weeks at your property. The amenities (Pool, spa, outdoor living space) were excellent. The rooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We rarely went out to eat, choosing instead to either grill or cook in the well-appointed kitchen. We truly felt at home and enjoyed the comfort and luxury this property afforded us. Signed - Four Midwesterners on a 28 day escape from the freezing temps. for a proper winter break.
House was very comfortably, clean, and reasonably well appointed. Lovely pool and spa. Nice view. The Acme staff was super helpful when we needed help. Strongly recommend!
We really wanted to getaway from the Bay Area during the pandemic. We got tired of seeing the same 4 walls. This home was the perfect getaway. It was so relaxing. The home was clean and roomy for the 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids). The backyard was huge!! We spent days in the pool or in the house watching the Olympics. We had a couple of hiccups with the oven and dishwasher. The property management team was responsive and fixed the issues within a couple of hours. We would definitely return to the property again and recommend it to friends.
The property was exactly as advertised, very clean, management was efficient and professional. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to PS.

We have now stayed in two of Acme's properties, Happy Hour and Mellow Yellow Butterfly. Both properties were outstanding. The locations were perfect, quiet streets with great views of the mountains and yet close to town and markets with just a short drive. Acme couldn't have done a better job. WELL DONE
