Holiday Homes in Palmetto Island State Park

"Ms. Ella was awesome. The first room we were assigned to wasn’t ready and she quickly got us another room. We drove in from Texas and were there for the Softball Series in Youngsville. The beds were amazing. Room was clean and fresh. AC, on point !! I will definitely stay again as long as Ms. Ella is in charge. She runs a tight ship and her staff was amazing. Breakfast was great as well. "

"B3d was extremely comfortable, the breakfast was good but should change it up from sausage every morning to maybe bacon. Also the pool could use some cleaning. "

"This was my second time staying here. I love this hotel so much. It was so luxuriously comforting! My daughter and I felt so good. The beds are so cozy. The room is dark and cool. The shower was lovely. It is so clean and well maintained. The lady at the front desk was super nice and caring. Thank you so much for such an exquisite experience!"

"I loved the cleanliness of the property. The smell once you enter through the front doors was awesome. The clean lines, yet simplicity of the inside of the hotel was the most welcoming. "The room was very clean and i was very happy with it. I wasnt aware that there was a fire there in Oct. I was expecting a pool, laundry room and an ice machine. My granddaughter was playing in a softball tournament and we especially needed the laundry room and ice machine. I think that there shiuld have been a temporary note added to the Motel 6 (Abbeville, LA) website stating that those amenities ARE NOT AVAILABLE at this time. Even though I was happy, i was expecting those amenities and paid for them before i knew those weren't available. I have to also mention, that the hotels in the area were booked and I had booked the rooms at Motel 6 weeks in advance due to the favorable amenities. I was very disappointed when i asked about the ice maker the next morning and found out that it was not working due to the fire in Oct. Then the laundry room was damaged during the fire. I wasn't able to wash uniforms, put ice in her drink cooler or let her have a dip in the pool. Had I known that those amenities were not available, i wouldn't have stayed there. Sort of like false advertisement."
