"There could be more outside trash cans
Dogs staying there is fine. I had a dog with me but people let their dog crap and left it everywhere. Also smoking outside the doors and cigarette butts all over ground and trash thrown in ground. Disposable coffee or soda cups. I had doggy bags with me at all times because dogs crap. The smoking right outside doors is offensive Inside was clean. Actually I had a canister of disinfectant wipes. Glad I did. The toilet seat looked sketchy. I’m not picky but some things….. The breakfast was the exact same thing everyday Staff was nice "

"Stepping into a time capsule! This place DESPERATELY needs attention!!! Peeling paint, locks and windows don’t work, dust and dirt everywhere! There was even dog hair on my bedding when I arrived… I’m allergic to animal dander. Even the jacuzzi tub in the room had left residue on the tip of the bubbles when filled. Shower had hair in it still.
The windowsill on the bay window was FULL OF DEAD BUGS! The dirt and dust on the outside of the banister made me question if housekeeping even cleaned before we came."

The views of the ever changing lake from many of the rooms and the gorgeous sunsets were highlights, but the house itself is clean, comfortable, and lovely. Ethan is a very responsive host and provides everything you need for your stay. We will be back! "
