This review is for the suite. It is super clean. Ample and comfortable. Bedding and towels are top quality. Hot water is hot and AC is cold. Good water pressure. The small kitchen with microwave, fridge and table is so convenient Just one small details, on this last visit, the bedding smelled a bit clean. Maybe they used too much detergent. Rooms 203 and 206 I highly recommend

Excellent hotel. The staff is very courteous and always helpful. The rooms are simple simple but it's sparkling clean. The bathroom is ample with a nice hot water pressure.. We reserve the suite, which includes living room, a small dining table and chair, fridge and microwave and a sink. I have stayed at this hotel 5 times during 2025 and plan on returning during 2025.

I booked this hotel due to an unexpected stay in Panama City, due to a flight delay. According to the description of the property on Expedia, this hotel was close to the airport and had an airport shuttle. It turned out that the hotel was about 15 miles from the airport, in downtown Panama City, in a not so great neighborhood. The Best Western did not have an airport shuttle. The room itself was fine and the hotel staff were courteous and attentive.

I first must say the room was clean & so was the property and the staff is wonderful. I had a problem with the noise. The pool is supposed to be open 8 to 8. Well there were people out there to way past midnight and then I heard people at 1 or 2 laughing and making all sorts of noise. It was tough not to go and complain. I probably should have. The doors are older, and they are not sealed all the way so you can see the light and because of this, you can hear all the noise which echoes up from the pool & courtyard. Since I have stayed in other hotels in Panama City, the breakfast was OK, not great. Mainly because of the noise I would not stay there again.

The room was always clean. However, we got transferred because the toilet was overflowing with water that was about to flow into the room. Then, another thing happened. The room we transferred to had a door malfunction so we were locked out until 12 pm. It was remedied fast though, and overall we had a wonderful stay. I loved the breakfast.

The AC was set to 18°C in the room. Terribly cold. We turned it warmer. But then the room has a lot of condensation during the night. The room smelled like bleach when we first arrived. The safe is not bolted to anything. Mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine in room. It was odd to have to take a step up to bathroom. The mattress was comfortable. The bed had 4 pillows which was good for us. We could walk to any of the Chinese restaurants in the immediate area (there are many!) Breakfast was just like other reviews said, you go after 9am and there is limited food selection. The staff doesn't replenish. They even had coffee cups behind closed doors. Someone had to ask for coffee to be refilled also. Breakfast was only open until 10am.
