"The hotel was generally really lovely, our family really enjoyed the food at both breakfast and dinner, good selection of hot savoury options, althought the breakfast pastries and cakes were awful, dry and hard, as if been left out all week and not a great selection of fresh fruit or dessert options.
The views from our room and the communal areas are stunning when it's not too cloudy.
However, the property is a little dated and the rooms could do with a little update.
Also, we were extremely disappointed that we couldn't use the pool (particularly our 6 year old) as the water was extremely cold, even in the jacuzzi, and for a 6 year old to say it's too cold...means it's too cold!!
Cheap spa options, however the therapist could really understand English very well and therefore didn't listen to my request of being careful of an injury, actually causing me pain.
Overall I'd recommend, but definitely room for improvement."

"This hotel is no longer as quiet as it used to be, nor does it prioritize its guests like before. Except for Saturdays, when the hotel tends to be busier, on other days many essential services such as hot water, heating, and other facilities are not as reliable as they once were.
It feels like the hotel’s priorities have shifted; guests and tranquility are no longer at the center. This is especially disappointing, as the main reason for choosing this hotel, despite its distance from the city, was precisely its peaceful atmosphere and quality of service."
"nice hotel with relaxing vibe. its a nice place to stay to hope to see distant himalayan views (it was cloudy both days i was there though, but i still enjoyed the stay). the hotel & restaurant staff (including rebecca, pramilla, deepa and others) are wonderful with always being helpful and pleasant. restaurant food was good with many cuisine options. try to get a room on a high floor, so you are above the adjacent building for a better view. "
"This is the most wonderful country hotel, perfectly situated with so many amazing amenities. I swam in the heated pool in the middle of winter. I didn't have a bathing costume but could buy one at a very low price. Sham our walking guide was fantastic. All the staff without exception were friendly and helpful. The hotel somehow discovered it was my birthday and made birthday cake for me, and all came to sing happy birthday. That was so touching, unexpected and wonderful - thank you! My room was absolutely beautiful. I hope to return one day soon."
"Nice place with authentic Nepali design and a great view on mountains. There’s a fireplace inside the room which really cool for cold nights.
Kind and helpful stuff.

"Nice room, the transport service from the airport to the hotel in the middle of the night was incredible, the breakfast was made to order, and the hotel manager even helped me to transfer to my next hotel"
"The staff were brilliant especially at the front desk reception and at the resturants. Other hotels got to learn about hospitality from them. The hotel is less worried about tips but more for the quality of service which is unlikely in most hotels of today. "
