Well maintained property, cleaned well, polite staff and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but good. The pool and property around it are well maintained, everyone enjoyed it. Comfortable king size bed in a spacious room with daily cleaning upon request. We would definitely stay there again!

Nice and quiet place. Awesome pool with refreshing water, friendly staff and hotel has a cat. Pillows and bedsheets had lovely smell, bathroom and room was so new and clean. Short distance from main street.Would stay again.

Great place, low key atmosphere. Perfect distance away from the crazy of Alona Beach. However the showers could use some cleanout to flow. Staff was helpful but does not take any initiative to serve or clean. Could use a lesson in cellphone appropriate usage.

The staff at Yellow Mango Resort were delightful. A wonderful welcome drink followed by time booking excursions. Rooms were very comfortable - clean, spacious, nice towels and toiletries, fridge, and everything worked (tv, safe, plugs). The main floor terraces with chairs and table were great and the facility was well-groomed (the pool was sparkling clean and the grass was scissor cut at the edges). Breakfast was basic but well-prepared and the staff were very accommodating of my coffee addiction (with milk not creamer). My flight was early morning and staff packed a delicious breakfast for me to take to the airport. Evening snacks were readily available (most were pre-packaged and then heated pizza, spring rolls, etc.) - not the healthiest options but….. The location was great - down a dirt road, quiet (except for the neighbour’s dog), safe and just a ten minute walk to the main shopping/tourist area. It was a good starting point for boating and land tours on the island. It gets my five star rating for a mid-range hotel.

I think this place is worth the money spent. The pool is always clean. The staff is great. The property is always tidy. The only cons are a limited food/drink menu, all of the roosters, and the shower partition design.

Staff was friendly and accommodating . Rooms were comfortable and any issues were addressed timely. Amenities were satisfactory especially the included breakfast. I would like to suggest that shower stalls to be scrubbed better to avoid the appearance of mildew/ mold on the corners.

So happy that I chose to stay here. The property is well maintained, always clean and quiet. Just a 10min walk from restaurants area, 15min walk to Alona Beach. Staffs are all friendly and hospitality was great. Their alcohol drinks are also great! Great options of menu for breakfast. The pool is always clean, love the color changing lights in the pool. This place feels like retreat and very homy. I will definitely go back here to my next visit in Bohol. :)

Staff and pool were great. Breakfast options were good. There are many restaurants within walking distance. There is a free shuttle to Alona Beach but the beach itself isn’t great. We took a 200 peso tuktuk to Oceanica Resort and enjoyed the lovely white beach there at no charge. You just need to eat/drink. Food was good there. The room was basic but fine. Balcony was nice. Extra pillows in the room would have been appreciated.

Only 12 rooms, and a little off the beaten path. Hourly free shuttle to the beach. Breakfast was included, and the breakfasts were all good. Lovely pool for such a small place. About a 10 minute walk to the main drag in town. You can always catch a trike back, if you don't feel like walking back.

Everything is very good except for some Smells in the neighborhood- either piggery or sewer system . And bec it’s a residential neighborhood, the residents burn their thrashes and it goes inside the room . Staff and service are excellente!!! It’s a personalized service - we’re like home

Amazing place to stay for its great value! The property is very well kept - very clean, its landscapes, nice size swimming pool, and the interior and exterior of the room. My room was upstairs with a large balcony and full view of the pool. I think all upstairs room have balconies there. Bamboo weaved balcony walls is a nice touch of the resort’s art and style. The staff was friendly and always smiled. I highly recommend this resort to adults and families with kids. Also, they offered a menu with several breakfast options. 24/7 happy hour drinks. Their rum and coke is only 70 P.

My overall experience with our stay was fine, staff were very helpful and accommodating. Just that the resources were limited like the food for example. It would be nice if it’s buffet instead of limited set menu, we don’t have free coffee and kettle inside the room, no hand towel just a small face towel that we managed to utilise. Bath towels need to have a deposit of PhP 500 each if we need to bring it to our island hopping to which we just opted not to bring anything anyway. The location is a bit far from the centre and the road getting there is narrow, only 1 vehicle at a time which is inconvenient to the driver

Cozy and relaxing

The Yellow Mango Resort proved to be a perfect choice on our return trip to Bohol. It wasn't right in the area of busy, hopping Alona Beach but close enough to easily get there if you wanted some excitement. At the same time though it was tucked far enough down a side road to be provide peace and quiet if that's what you were in the mood for. The room was great for the price with a queen size bed plus a smaller twin, ample room, strong AC, and décor that was a fair bit more inspired than the usual Philippine resort standard. Breakfast was included and quite delicious, served in the lobby area that doubled as a cozy cafe slash bar. The pool was a decent size and quite refreshing after a long day touring Bohol. Staff were polite and helpful although there were some instances of miscommunication particularly when they booked us an island hopping tour. The issue was relatively minor though and overall our stay was relaxing. If you're looking for a massive resort with expansive recreation options you'll want to look at the larger (and more expensive) establishments in the area but if a more cozy, laid-back vibe is your thing the Yellow Mango is well worth staying at.
