"A unique property with its own fascinating, and sometimes dark, history. The design of the building is strikingly elegant. For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was made to feel at home. P.S. Do not scrimp on the breakfast buffet."

Parken im Bereich des Hotels auch ohne Probleme. Zu Fuß ca. 10 min. in die schöne Leipziger Innenstadt. Würden beim nächsten Aufenhalt in Leipzig sofort wieder dort buchen!"

"This hotel is HIGHLY recommended. It was just superb. Everyone was super friendly and nice. The room we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous not to mention comfortable and very spacious. The hotel provided both sparkling and still water every day! Fabulous location. The only thing that would have made our stay more perfect was if the spa was opened, but it was closed for renovations. Hopefully next time!"
"Excellent location across a small square from St. Thomas Church, virtually next-door to the Bach museum, and a very short walk to many many other sites. Excellent room with modern large shower and modern finishing. Spacious bathroom with a sitting area and good-sized desk. We had a lovely view over the green courtyard behind the property. Very pleasant library on the main floor, a sauna available to guests, and a good restaurant for breakfast (not sure about other meals as we did not test it out.) Super staff and very comfortable in English. Excellent value. "
"Sept. 2025. Our 6 night stay at the Elaya Hotel in Leipzig's city centre was great. Many sights (museums, churches, the Leipzig Zoo) and wonderful eateries were within walking distance. The hotel was clean, safe, and well appointed. I would definitely return to this establishment for a future stay."

"The apartment/room was very comfortable, spacious and relaxing.
During my stay, I noticed a few anomalies with the equipment, which I reported to front desk personnel. The matter was noted and dealt with.
These anomies did not affect t my stay.
Because my room had a kitchen, dishwasher and laundry facilities, I used them all. Consequently, I did not eat on the dining rooms.
The front desk staff were all very professional, patient and helpful."
