"Probably the best hotel in the area with unbelievable friendly staff. The breakfast and a-la-carte food are very good. There is a shop and some other restaurants in the area but for going to the next hotspots you need a taxi or scooter."

"Very nice place, peaceful, quiet place (looks quite new at the time of writing - May 2015). Room was clean, somebody even cared enough to add descriptions to light switches so you know which switch does what, there was a water dispenser in the living room and a movie available to watch. "We really enjoyed staying here. The hotel staff was very nice and helped us with everything. The surrounding of the hotel was also good with a nice beach and not many tourists. The only bad things is that there a not many restaurants near and sadly it smelled of smoke in our room. Although we would definitely recommend it."

"We had a lovely stay at the Sheraton. It’s at the quiet end of senggigi but easily walkable to get to other restaurants and shops in the village. The beach off the hotel is pretty, and the sea is nice but it’s quite a busy ocean area with jet skis and boats, but it’s charming and not noisy at all. The staff are all lovely and breakfast is great. Excellent pianist playing each morning too. The rooms are not new but they’re good size and everything works and is comfortable. The gym is decent too, and the swimming pool is incredible. Lovely place- would recommend it and will come back I’m sure. "

"My wife and I stayed for a week during our honeymoon and were made to feel so welcome. Everyone was so lovely and kind. We appreciated all the ways that they made our honeymoon feel extra special! We managed to enjoy relaxation and adventure in equal parts, including surfing directly in front of the hotel and snorkelling at the North Gilis with a boat also taking us directly from the hotel. We really enjoyed the Indonesian cooking class offered by the hotel and found the themed nights at the restaurant, particularly the flavours of the archipelago, extremely satisfying. Overall could not imagine our honeymoon anywhere else, thank you so much to the entire team that made it so special!"

"A Hidden Gem in Lombok – Unforgettable Stay at Kalandara Resort Kalandara Resort is truly a slice of paradise in Lombok. The breathtaking view of the sea from the resort is simply magnificent – the perfect setting for a peaceful and luxurious getaway. The villa was impeccably clean, offering complete privacy, especially with the private pool and spacious layout. We especially loved the large bathtub – a perfect touch of indulgence! The food was a delightful highlight – a wonderful mix of traditional Indonesian flavours and an international selection including Japanese and Turkish cuisine. We also enjoyed the refreshing jamu served during our stay – a lovely cultural experience. What truly made our stay memorable was the exceptional service. Every staff member went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. A special shout-out to Wulan, Wulan Meiyi, Olivia, Wina, Najwa, and our kind and reliable drivers Ahyar and Emi – thank you for your warmth and hospitality. The transfers to and from the airport were smooth and comfortable, adding to the overall ease of the experience. We left with nothing but fond memories and have already recommended Kalandara to friends and family. Thank you, Kalandara Resort, for an unforgettable stay. We hope to return again soon."

"Where to begin with this resort. For starters, I’ve stayed at many places from all over the world and sudamala sengiggi is by far one of if not the best places I’ve stayed at. Incredibly friendly and accommodating staff, food is amazing and affordable as well considering we stayed at a luxury hotel. It is very well balanced between food from Indonesian food and international food so it serves all palates. They also offer a romantic dinner package for couples which we took and it was absolutely amazing, a must do for honey-mooners or couples staying at the resort. In addition, they offer many excursion/experience packages for people to do that offer a very wide array of choices. One of the best if not the best excursion packages is the 3 Gili island trips which is a private boat trip to the islands which includes snorkeling and lounging/exploring the final island which is Gili Trawangan. The room choices and accommodations are very lovely as well as the room cleaning service. All in all, a 10/10 resort experience, if you come to Lombok, this is a must stay place. "
