"Padimas provides very nice, comfortable houses for rent at the north end of Langkawi Island. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get some peace and quiet, as it's away from everything. The flipside of this is that you'll have to drive to get anywhere. In terms of service, they are very helpful about providing anything you need. Make sure to contact the owner and let him know what time you'll arrive."

Holiday Villa Resort & Beachclub Langkawi

"The hotel is decent overall. From our experience, cleanliness standards in some hotels and resort areas in Malaysia may differ from what we are used to in Canada. When we arrived, the toilet bowl was not properly cleaned, and there were hairs on the bathroom floor. The beach, however, is excellent — white sand, shallow water, and very family-friendly, especially for kids. There are also plenty of activities available directly on the beach, such as jet skiing and paragliding. The sunsets were absolutely beautiful and one of the highlights of our stay. I would not recommend purchasing the breakfast. We tried it once and paid directly at the counter, but the experience was disappointing. The staff were slow to clear tables after guests left, so many tables remained dirty for quite a while. The cleanliness of the glasses also left much to be desired, and it was difficult to find a reasonably clean glass for juice. In addition, the food selection was quite limited for the price. The room does include a fridge, so instead we used Grab to visit a nearby fruit shop and bought fresh fruit and yogurt, which worked much better for us. I also highly recommend signing up for the Villa Gold Card during check-in. It’s free and gives access to the infinity pool as well as a 10% discount on food. This was our third hotel in Malaysia during our two-week trip, and we noticed that the level of service is generally different from what we are accustomed to in Canada or Mexico."

"The room is clean and beautiful shower room. Very impressed the space . Only title suggestion, please provide the hand soap rather than the bar of soap. The staffs from the reception area provided fantastic. Exceptional service. Special Ms Husna and Jaden. With the beautiful smile from Ms Husna. Always lend a hand to help with her friendly smiling face. The bartender Shazrul. He made my last day unforgettable. The cocktails he made so good. Not many bartenders can make a good drink. But Shazrul shows me how professional, how experience. Well done. Outdoor pool. Can see the sea view from the pool. Very happy . The location. The beach side a little dirty. Not really a good place to lie down on the dirty beach."

"Great breakfast choice,rooms spacious, lovely view, balcony was very good size with ceiling fan and lights, minor issues shower could do with being more powerful and air con although very good felt a bit damp at times, the hotel is great location on the beach with watersports all beside hotel, restaurants were good although as per normal can be a bit pricey if eating at hotel, free parking if car hired and room service is great."

"Far from the road, walking unpleasant. Paid 50$ for deluxe beach front and it is just a container, old with mold, locked windows, tv without remote, air conditioning not managing to cool properly during the day. Small, toilette and shower among the worst ever. Dangerous stairs to reach the room, we barely made it with our luggages. Never again."

"Great resort with great staff. My only issue was the temperature of the room and how dry the air was in my room. I also asked to book an airport transfer the day before, but the morning of they didn’t order it. So I had to resort to a Grab which turned out to be cheaper. Overall the staff was very friendly "
