"If I could give this property 10 stars, I would ! It was clean, beautifully appointed and decorated, well-stocked with everything we could possibly need (kitchen utensils, firewood, water, toiletries) and the beds were ultra-comfy. The setting was awesome--very private, yet only an easy 5-10 minute drive from town. Kathy and Scott were attentive and available if needed (they weren't needed), but not intrusive or "annoying" in any way. We have actually not yet met them in person, though we would look forward to doing so. As much as I'd like to keep this place a secret, to make certain it is available for our next stay, I have to tell you it's THE BEST !"

"This home was outstanding! The beautiful view of the mountains and the fall colors were breathtaking. The property was visited daily by a herd of 15 mule deer that grazed and bedded down for the night just yards away from the house. A badger and some bunnies were also hanging around. The home was comfortable and the kitchen was very well equipped. There were soft drinks, water bottles, and staples in the fridge for us and I found my new favorite coffee among the many flavors provided. If you like to just chill and read a book, play games, or work puzzles, there are plenty of them provided. For families or groups where some want to explore and go on adventures, and others just like to hang out and chill with the views…. this is the perfect place for everyone. We will be recommending this VRBO to all of our friends."

"The inn is an easy, beautiful 25-minute drive away from the North Rim of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The proprietors, Nathan and Lara, are very friendly and provided plenty of useful information and recommendations for things to do. The property is beautifully restored and landscaped--attractive and cozy, with everything I needed, including microwave, frig, and dishes, along with a good quality flat screen tv, dvds, and streaming. There's a restaurant across the street and an especially good coffee shop a block away. The town is small but charming and is surrounded by pretty landscapes (check out Needle Rock). I highly recommend this place!"

"Nice glamping experience. Bed was comfortable, coffee good, good location. Separate bathroom was clean and serves 4 cabins. We were there during the week into the weekend. We had the bathrooms to ourselves during the week. All four cabins were filled for the weekend, but no long waits for bathroom access! I am an early riser though. I liked it. Paonia is pretty slow, I would not go back to spend time there. We were OHV riding. "

"We stayed at Moose Landing apart of a week long trip where we stayed at a few different rentals. This was definitely top of the list! Wonderful space, kind host, stunning views, fantastic location …hard to beat all around. We would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for that real cabin feel with easy accessibility. "
