We stayed at Mayfair gardens for 4 nights, we had to leave early for personal reasons, the hotels facilities for breakfast,bar pool etc are great, no complaints there but the rooms are not as advertised, it seems the majority are not renovated, we paid extra for a pool view and got a view of the back car park, we would have complained but due to personal reasons we have other things to think about. Just make sure you get what you pay for.

Nice hotel
It's a nice place to stay. We were upgraded for free to a 2-room suite because no suitable rooms were available. The breakfast is not too rich but it's still good. Beds are very comfortable. Although the bathroom's faucets and showers need upgrades. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, the staff is eager to help you. However, if you want a quiet place to stay - this hotel is not for you. In the evening, there are events at the bar for guests, and the music and guests themselves are quite loud well into the night.

Great upgrade, excellent value
My Hotels.com booking had garden/pool view, but initially put into room at back of hotel overlooking supermarker car park. This was rectified next day with great upgrade to small family suite with great view on top floor. Room good size , clean, solid wood furniture and comfy double bed. Was on b and b and buffet breakfast was extensive choice and good quality. In particular the lean bacon was a welcome change from the fatty, streaky had elsewhere in the Med. Was very impressed with evening buffet, choice, quality, temperature, came at €18, with complimentary beer. Has 2 big pools and great mini water park for the kids. Normally plenty of sun loungers but this week real problems with 'prime' position beds being reserved with towels, in some cases overnight. Hotel policy is beds cannot be reserved but this not enforced. Entertainment of some kind, magician, singer etc. most evenings. Room maid, front desk very helpful, friendly. Small gym is closed but manager has let me borrow some dumbells so can work out in room, nice touch. I originally booked 2 weeks, but extended this for 2 more weeks as many things i like . Large supermarket behind hotel which does good value lunch. Big mall nearby, as are couple of decent rsstaurants. Main bar street is down towards harbour 10 minutes walk.

Paphos holiday
I booked b&b but lunch and dinner was available to buy in the restaurant. Lots of families there on AIl inclusive so things became very loud as the day wore on. Bar open from 10am with the all inclusive guests making the most of it. Very big and impersonal, need a car due to the location although the bus service is very good. The hotel is very clean and well maintained and the gardens are lovely. Jet2 rep very helpful even though I wasn’t with them. Staff very friendly and receptionist printed off my UK locator form. As a solo traveler l wouldn’t choose this hotel again. Great for families and groups wedding guests etc. Saying that I still enjoyed my holiday.

Disappointing
Booked garden view room and got a room overlooking derelict area with rubbish. So did not use the balcony as we had intended. The hotel was generally good, nice pools, good breakfast, but the area it was in was not so good. Not very close to beach and no restaurants very close. The room was clean, but needed updating. Generally the staff were friendly, but the room and view from the balcony very disappointing.

The main swimming pool was closed for refurbishment but everything else was fairly good. Their buffet was amazing, my partner is A meat eater and he loved it. I'd go pack there in summer as location is fairly good

Overnight stop
Very nice hotel only an overnight stop but we will definitely be back. We told management that there was no teas and coffees in the room and they have responded saying teas coffees will be offered at check-in. Hotel is very close to pafos Kings Ave mall and therefore good for shopping.

we were sent away
On arrival they told us they were fully booked and they sent us to another hotel, the next day we called them requesting them to get a room, staff was not helpful, they couldn't help us as the manager wasn't there, they told us that the manager would get in touch but he never did.

Lovely, clean hotel close to amenities.
I really liked this hotel. It has two large pools that are fun to hang out at during the day. The all inclusive food was rather good considering the average ones I've experienced before. I booked a single room as I was joining my friends here later in the week, I don't recommend the single budget room. Even though very clean and comfortable enough, the air con was weak (so quite warm at night), and possibly used as a staff sleeping quarters as one night around 7pm a staff member decided to let themself into my room as I was getting ready for an evening out (It wasn't a maid). Otherwise, my friends had some really large and lovely rooms, so definitely book double rooms. On the plus, I did have a lovely view from my balcony. Overall, a great hotel for a getaway, they also serve free snack food and ice cream during the day. Had a good stay!

Booked for a flying visit as had been here previously so knew where it was and it appeared from photos on website that it had all been re-decorated and upgraded. Disappointed on arrival as room not ready - seemed a common theme as other arrivals found the same thing. When eventually we got the key ( was offered free drink which was a gesture but would rather have been able to go straight to room given it was only a short visit)we found that upgrading was confined to exterior and public areas. Rooms- at least the one we got was the same as previously- clean but in need of redecoration, new equipment and new furniture. There were also repairs needed and an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. If we'd planned a longer stay we'd have asked for another room or gone elsewhere. Overall a disappointment and I doubt we'll go back there. Also re-branded as Smartline with no obvious mention of Mayfair at the entrance- somewhat confusing for first time guests.

Great food.. Nevertheless the Smartline hotel and Mayfair apartments are two separate complexes..The Smartline hotel is acrually nice while the Mayfair apartments are old and smell badly.. And btw while I paid extra for a room whith pool view the lady on the reception said that the pool view was a "request" which means that it the hotel doesn't have to offer a room with pool view, which of course is q lie. I would stay again in the Smartline hotel but i would not, choose Mayfair apartments.

Great time at a great hotel!!!
We realy had a great time at Mayfair.we booked breakfast and Dinner.My kids loved it. The rooms were realy clean. The staff was helpful. Breakfast was rich. The food at Dinner was nice. The only(if I must say something) bad was that it didnt have variety on salads for my taste. Drinks and food at the bar was at reasonable prices. The entertainment was fun. the second night I cried from laughter. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.I read all the bad reviews....the hotel is not a five star hotel, but we did not pay for a five star hotel. people seem to forget that!!!

We booked the Mayfair after some consideration because of its location and received a confirmation. When we checked in, we were told they were full and they booked us into another hotel with the same rating. The taxi was paid to the other hotel and back to Mayfair the following day...but we were embarrassed by the receptionist who asked why they had to pay for the taxi! The only reason we booked the Mayfair was because the flight was coming in late and we lived in this area.

Holiday for two families ruined completely ruined
We came from Denmark and drove from Larnaka Airport looking forward to our holiday booked at Mayfair Garden. We booked weeks before and 6 days before the arrival we confirmed our booking with the hotel. We finally arrived with four excited kids and was met by the receptionist with a message that we couldn't stay as the hotel was overbooked. No politeness nor empathy- just directions to another hotel which was of a lower standard with no kids club, no restaurant or all inclusive as we wished for. Everything else in Paphos was booked so our holiday was ruined. So re-consider before you book a stay at Mayfair Garden.

A nice modern looking hotel when you pull up, in a none touristy part of town. The room was a good size but definately needs updating.

Nice hotel in okay location
Nice hotel in okay location, approximately 10mins walk from harbour. Lovely pool and the staff were very hospitable and helpful - gave great advice on local places to eat
