Busy enjoying the sights

Very relaxing but there was renovation going which is now complete other then that always something to do at the Atlantis

Hatbourside

We had a wonderful stay. The property managers were attentive and the listing was accurate. We brought our own paper towels and dish pods which worked out well along with coffee and coffee filters. The pull out sofa was comfortable and we absolutely loved the patio view! The water park was perfect for our boys and the Harbourside pool was a great place to unwind after a day at the water park: We will be back!

nice property

This property was nice and quiet compared to the Atlantis resort. We walked across the bridge to the grocery story because food prices are quite high. It was really great to have a kitchen. We were able to get taxis to downtown Nassau but anywhere further, like to a beach on the other side of the Island was really expensive. It was great having access to Atlantis, I don't think it would be worth paying for day passes.

They should provide dishwasher soap. White socks got dirty after walking across floor/carpet. Housekeeping was very responsive to our requests - extra blankets, maintenance request. Shuttles to take you around Atlantis park work well

Atlantis hotel room with more space

You're renting one of the timeshare units at the Atlantis Hotel, in their "tower" called Harborside. As the listing says, you get access to every aspect of Atlantis- beaches, pools, restaurants, and waterslides. You're a hotel guest who booked through VRBO. If you think you'd like Atlantis, this is a great option. We would have liked to see a few of the smaller details attended to- you have to buy your own laundry and dish soap, for example. Little touches that we felt paying luxury prices should include. Otherwise, this listing was exactly what was advertised, it's exceptionally easy to get around Atlantis, and if you want to go to Atlantis this is a great way to do it.

Paradise Island is still paradise!

Atlantis is still a top resort that has something for everyone, from beautiful beaches, pools, and rides, to shopping and food. It even had a nightclub exclusively for the teens in our group. The shuttle transportation system is outstanding! On the downside, Atlantis is significantly more expensive then just a few years ago, and risks not providing an adequate value proposition for travelers. Harbourside provides an affordable option for travelers; however, I experienced some negative experiences with my accommodation. My convection oven was broken, and the room thermostat could not reach the temperature that was set. My investigations into this determined that the air intake filter had at least 1 inch solid of dust and dirt, preventing air from circulating. This obviously meant that the filter had not been changed in YEARS! Only 1 coffee pod and 2 dishwasher tabs were provided for my 1 week stay, which I thought was incredibly cheap. When I went to retrieve a welcome packet which I was informed was with the concierge, I discovered this was merely a ploy to get me to attend a timeshare sales meeting. My welcome packet was eventually provided which consisted of a tiny bottle of water, and a small packet of cookies. Incredibly cheap! This left a negative impression with me. If you can overlook these deficiencies with Harbourside, Atlantis is still a great resort with plenty to offer.

Loved the privacy!!!

This was an incredible vacation!!! Everyday we walked to the main part of the resort and took the shuttle back. We LOVED the pool at harbor side. It was a great break from the chaos of the waterpark. We went with a 3 and 5 year old.

Great vacation

My family loved Harborside Resort and this condo! We had complete access to the waterpark and all Atlantis had to offer. The condo was exactly as advertised, with a dishwasher, stovetop and a microwave that is also a convection oven. The resort gave us wonderful customer service, grabbed shuttles wherever we wanted to go on the resort, taxis were easy to order. Great time had by all! I would definitely recommend staying here.

Atlantis review - Harborside

The resort was wonderful. It was nice to stay in a beautiful, fully furnished condo (with in unit laundry!!) rather than a hotel room for our vacation. The short walk to Atlantis did not pose a problem as sometimes we walked and sometimes we took the readily available shuttle. The evening stroll past the enormous yachts in the harbor was amazing. The resort was run like a hotel with maid service daily, which was nice. We took a 'cab' (actually a luxury town car) across the bridge into Nassau to grocery shop. The driver waited for us while we loaded up, saving a lot of money on meals. I would highly recommend this resort, and, based on the fun we had at Atlantis, we will be back! ENJOY

Harborside Villas at Atlantis

We had previously stayed in one of the Tower condos at Atlantis but wanted to try a Villa to have more room for our family of four. We absolutely LOVED our 2br/2bath Villa. Very large bedrooms, bathrooms, living room and full kitchen with washer and dryer. It had all the comforts of home while still being in a great location, very quick and easy to get anywhere at Atlantis via a short walk or the Atlantis buses that run every 15 minutes. We will never do anything else when visiting Atlantis again in the future.

Atlantis

Our group of 10 had a 2bdrm with adjoining 1 bdrm and it was perfect. Best pool I have ever seen. Marina walk with shopping and dining next door. Lots of shuttles to various Atlantis sites. Friendly staff. Only complaint was the time it took to have extra room amenities delivered to room. Highly recommend the Harborside.

Great resort - bad government

Love the Bahamas - especially Atlantis. It's crazy expensive but you know that going in. This past year the government decide that it wanted to suck more money out of tourist so they now added a 7.5% VAT tax to every purchase. That is on top of the automatic 15% gratuity that Atlantis adds. It's ridiculous so I have no intentions of going back. The Harborside Resort is a great option for families!

Would Go Back Over and Over!

Fantastic place to bring your family. The staff and rooms were fantastic. It's a great way to enjoy the Atlantis without the extreme cost. Full kitchen in room makes it easy to keep the meal cost reasonable too.

wonderful family trip

My husband, 7-year old son and 3-year old daughters visited Harborside at Atlantis this April (2016). We had a one bedroom premium villa and had a fantastic trip. The booking process was very easy and pleasant with Vacation Candy, kudos to them for that. We were very pleased with the property. We had been torn between trying out the all-inclusive plan at the Beach Tower or the Harborside, and were so glad we went this route. The extra space, kitchen, washer and dryer and patio were so worth it! Plus, my kids' favorite pool was actually the one at Harborside! I think it was just so much more relaxing - the crowds were a bit much for their age. That said, they also really did love all the Atlantis pools and the lagoon beaches but, given a choice, they'd choose to play in the quiet of our own area's pool. I was worried about the distance between our condo and the main resort and it was no problem. We brought a double stroller for the girls and alternated between walking it and taking a shuttle. I used Sandra's Taxi for our pick up from the airport and was very glad that I did so. We also ordered groceries for delivery upon our arrival, which was a great convenience. All in all, a great time. I do have to say it helps to be ready for a bit of resort sticker shock -- I ordered a can of the local beer, Sands Light, at the pool on our first night and it was $9.60! Vodka and lemonade was $17. Our pina colodas were $22. You get the idea. But the beauty and experience of this unique place made it worthwhile.

Great Resort

Had a great time at the Atlantis. Staying at Harborside is the way to go. Being able to eat breakfast in every morning and some additional meals was wonderful. Condo was large enough for our family of five.

Great place for a family

We love Harborside at the Atlantis and using VacationCandy to book it. Harborside is on the nice and quiet side of the Atlantis resort, but just minutes from all the craziness at Atlantis. I love the full kitchen and separate bedroom. My kids love all the slides, animal interactions, lazy river, the rapids, and other fun things that Atlantis has to offer. They always ask to go back! We go every couple of years and can't wait to get back!

Great Family Trip!

We surprised my three kids with a trip to Atlantis last June. We had a fabulous trip. With the five of us, it was great to have a little more room to spread out at the Harborside. We also loved having a kitchen and a quieter pool away from the chaos of the Atlantis. It was a hike to get to the Atlantis (maybe a 15 minute walk), but it was totally worth the extra space.
