"I didn't like that I booked 2 rooms and I was giving 1 family room. There is a reason why people book 2 rooms, and it is to have more space. I spent 3 days in a tiny room with 4 beds inside because I was told they put poison on the other rooms to kill bugs, but on the very next day some new guests were there"

"Hotel has perfect location and beautiful garden. Clean pool and sauna is also plus. However, staff don't speak english, so we used google translate to communicate. Room was full of mosquitoes. We spent 3 nights there and room was never cleaned up. Wi-Fi was not working in our room."

First, they chose to put 10 guests in one room when there were two other empty dorm rooms. This led to a very hot room, with a lot of traffic. Why not just spread people among the three rooms? "Paraty is a place to visit! Just skip this property. It’s not a hostel more like a local residence/ party spot. There was 3 families living there, that made it all rather unusual. The music never stops it’s on all day and typically goes off around 3-4 am. It’s difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bar/restaurant had nothing to drink other than 2 beers and only had potato chips for snacks. Not what I typically expect from a hostel. I also had booked with them a transfer at 7 am which I missed...
