"One of the loveliest stays we have experienced in a unique place. The peniche is exquisite and cosy. Some people might not like sharing the common spaces with other guests. However, we had the place to ourselves 2 nights in a row and met lovely people at the breakfast table. A place like no others. There could be more comfortable chairs in the living room if the weather was inclement."

"Limited dining - no dinner or room service other than breakfast. Walk to closest restaurants - only 1 was open. Had to walk to motorway for more options."

"The hotel is located in an indusyrial area and a car is critical. The restsurant serves buffet brwakfadt, but not lunch or dinner. I booked it for the spa which was ok. I wouldn't call it a spa at all. Rooms were nice and comfortable. No refrigerator in the room was a pain as didn't have access to water, milk etc. Staff were attentive & helpful. "

"I stayed only one night. Good Location, very central, many restaurants and shops nearby, good public transport options. Nice staff. A minor issue is that there is a bit of noise from the pigeons living around neighbor buildings."
