"Lovely place, quiet but well located, friendly and helpful staff. I also found the aromatherapy to be a nice touch. I would stay here again if in Porto. "

"Casa dos Loios is delightful. The location is right in the heart of things, easy to find your way around. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, with a lovely outside sitting area on which to eat. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, with good restaurant recommendations and help interpreting train schedules and directions. Would definitely stay here again should we be so lucky to visit Porto a second time!"

"You basically no contact with staff, only when you go down for breakfast on the first day when she ask the room number, after that she will ignore you the whole time.
Don’t bother including breakfast unless you like boiled eggs. My son did not even went down for breakfast for the 3 days that we were there because there was only boiled eggs and toast."

"there was a major plumbing leak when we stayed there so areas were blocked. We had to change rooms at 11pm and there was a leak in air conditioner until overnight in the second room. We reported to staff but the response was very nonchalant."
"Surprisingly good ,clean, well staffed and well run hotel for such a large impersonal looking place.great roof top pool and bar and well equipped gym. Breakfast plentiful with great staff . Comfortable room with some nice touches . Also although the location was out of the centre it was in an interesting neighbourhood with really good access to two metro lines so if you didn’t want want to walk far public transport was fast and easy even in rush hour . Plus easy access to airport and motorway north"
"Such a beautiful and comfortable hotel. Amazing room, lovely breakfast and the most polite and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. One of the best hotels we have stayed at!"
"We were greeted by very nice staff who were able to speak English which is always nice since we are still learning Portuguese. They were all captivated with our puppy and were excited to have us there. Everyone was very helpful. But then to my surprise we were given a free upgrade to a suite. The suite was very nice and it was nice to have so much room with the puppy. After checking in room staff brought a dog bed, a little bowl, and a bone. That was such a special thoughtful service. There is also food places nearby. We had pizza at a little place that we walked to in town center. We enjoyed the place so much we will be using it again this week."
