The location is rural yet only 1.5hrs from Dijon and the Burgundy wine region is on the doorstep. The hot tub and sauna are a wonderful way to relax overlooking the river. The host was helpful."

"Notre séjour s'est très bien passé. Ce n'est d'ailleurs pas la 1ere fois que nous allons dans ce logement. Seul bémol, l'absence de bip pour l'ouverture du portail. Seule la partie piéton s'ouvrait et obligeait a sortir de la voiture pour l'ouvrir. Mais ce fut un désagrément minime compte tenu du temps et de la durée de notre séjour."

"Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche im haus vom Roman. Es ist wie beschrieben und gut ausgerüstet für so viele Personen. Der grosse Park ist fantastisch , unsere Kinder (und die Hunde) konnte eine Woche lang spielen und toben. Wir genossen den Pool, und machten ausflüge nach Chablis, Troyes, Dijon und dem Chateau Tanlay. Im Kanal de Bourgogne. Wir haben diese Reihe sehr genossen und können uns vorstellen wieder zu kommen. "Very nice staff. In the last minute I realized I made a mistake on the reservation day and they were able to change the arrangement very nicely and no cost. We loved the breakfast with all regional products. If we come back to Troyes I’m sure to know where to stay"

"The hotel manager didn't care. All he wanted was money. The apartment we booked was for 4 motorcycle friends on a tour. We booked the apartment because it had 4 beds. The instructions by Expedia said contact the property 24 hours before arrival. Someone would then meet you at the property. We did this telling them we were arriving on motorcycles. We had no reply from the property manager. This was repeated 12 hours before arrival. Again no reply. We arrived at the apartment and phoned them. They told us we had to go to another location (St George Hotel) to get the keys. We left the bikes at the apartment and walked. When we arrived at the hotel we were told there was no parking and only two places at the hotel. We managed to find one at the apartment and fitted the other three into a small space at the hotel. We were given the keys to the apartment after a tangle over payment. We had paid in advance but they were asking for payment. That was sorted. We were given a key. Now at the apartment, the key didn't fit any of the doors. By luck we opened a garage door and found the apartment. Access was via a narrow and unsafe staircase. On entry it was dark and uninviting. There was no bedding for the sofa bed. The hotel manager was contacted and wanted more money for bedding. I ended up sleeping in my clothes with no bedding. There are so many other things to list, unsafe electrics, broken smoke detector. To much to list. Extremely poor. Why do Expedia promote this property?"

"If you want a truly old France experience, this is the place ! Lovely friendly couple who have turned their 19c priory into a b & b, retaining all the character and architecture of the period, as well as the furniture. Good bathroom facilities and good value for money. The surrounding rural area is stunning. "

"We had an amazing stay in this lovely hotel. So quirky and full of character. Beds - amazing, best sleep ever. Walkable everywhere in Troyes old town, plenty of restaurants and cafes on your door step, grocery shop 5 min walk away. Lovely owners and housekeeping girls. Will definitely stay again as we are in this area often visiting my husband’s family. Definitely recommend!"
