FAMILY FRIENDLY weekend getaway on the Yorke Peninsula
8/10 Good
"Just being honest. The house was easily accessible and very clean. The bedrooms were really roomy and the bed was extremely comfortable. Just the one bathroom but an extra toilet. The downsides were that there is no wifi which isnt a real problem if you want to disconnect for a few days but most places I have stayed usually had wifi. The bathroom was very clean but the shower is over the bathtub, which is difficult for people with mobility issues. As it was my husband didnt use the shower for the 2 days we were there.Only some of the gas jets on the stove worked. There was no hairdryer, iron, dishcloths, rubbish bin liners or front light. This should be included in the info when booking. I would have taken my own hairdryer if I had known so I didnt go out into the cold with wet hair. The TV remote was defective (might have just needed batteries). These are all just minor issues but I feel like they need to be mentioned so the next person can make an informed decision about where to stay. The house has plenty of things to keep children occupied and a lovely maintained back yard to play."

Reviewer Comments:
We had a great time at this house. It was super comfortable with all the things you need for an easy family getaway. Ducted air conditioning throughout, dishwasher, highchair, little trikes for kiddos, washing machine, extra beach toys, plenty of space etc. The beach was a quick walk away. Only thing we’d suggest is looking to replace the front steps as some are starting to be a bit rusted and wobbly. Would also be great to have fencing along the front verandah or front yard for a more secure / safe space with very little kids. Love that the lounge room has big glass doors you can open and enjoy the sea breeze and view from the lounge room. All in all a comfortable well equipped home where we enjoyed a lovely family holiday."
