This is a small, quaint hotel in a great location right across from the Saint Lazare train station. The rooms are very small, but that is to be expected. The breakfast room is also pretty small so go early or you may have to wait for a table. The staff was very helpful.

Reasonably priced well located hotel
We used this hotel for our last night in France as it was close to the train station and would make getting to the airport easier. The rooms were modest in size but that was not an issue for us as we were there for just 1 night. It was perfect for what we needed and reasonably priced.

Great location and better price
This hotel is nothing fancy, and yet it had everything I require: a clean and comfortable room, air conditioning, friendly staff, a good neighborhood, and very close proximity to Gare St Lazare, one of the main transport hubs in Paris. On days when I wanted to explore, I could get anywhere I wished to go; on a day when I was exhausted, I just went to nearby coffee shops and restaurants and hung out. The only drawback was limited storage space—I had room enough for my stuff, because I was traveling alone for work, but it might be challenging for heavy packers. For the price, though, this hotel is truly a steal.

My room was a single, but it was a little jewel. It was immaculately clean, had more convenient power plugs than I could possibly use, and had amenities such as expensive hangars. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was exceedingly helpful. I would stay there again, and I am picky about hotels. Oh yes, it has a small lift and the windows block all street noise.

Perfectly located across a side street from the St. Lazare train station, the hotel is staffed by very welcoming, English-speaking staff. Rooms are compact but have all necessary amenities. Beds are comfortable and rooms are clean. Only problem was the room air conditioner wasn't functioning one night, meaning the room was too warm for my comfort (but I like to sleep in a cool room). I opened the window to cool off the room, but this resulted in hearing excessive street noise. Of the 3 nights I stayed, only one night was without airconditioning -- the other two were perfect and I slept very well.

Good hotel for one night
It’s a well located hotel. Near the St Lazare station. At a walking distance from a lot of shops. The room are small & clean. It’s a good hotel for one night. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving the key of the room at the reception every time I was leaving the hotel.

My worst stay in Europe
The hotel was so noisy because of inspproperiate windows. Wifi was extremely slow (I had to go to lobby). Hot water for three people was not enough (my son could not take shower). The quality of shampoo was very bad. The hotel staff kept us waiting for 30 minutes to find a taxi with cheap price (!!!!) of 55 euro. After 30 minute useless waiting, I found that the price of taxies that are imidiately available in front of the hotel is 50 euro.

Pleasant stay for business
Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and made great use of the limited space. The rooms are small, but satisfactory for a business stay. The shower stall is super tight for anyone over 150lbs (I'm 210). I asked if there was a room with a larger shower as I have an injury and found it difficult to bend to reach my feet. There wasn't one, but the clerk allowed me to look at another room to see if I liked it better. It had a bit more room in the sleeping area but the shower was the same. The breakfast was simple and had adequate choices for a quick bite. Seating is very limited, but I didn't have a problem getting a table.

this hotel was right out side the train station, which was very convenient as we had our carry on luggage with us. the receptionist was very cordial and friendly. Lots of places to eat near by. The perfect location for a one night stay for us to hop back on the train to visit the Eiffell tower and go back to Charles de Gaulle airport the following morning.

The hotel is very conveniently located near Saint Lazare station This is my second visit to Paris and stayed in the same area. The hotel staff are good, but the hotel in general is very small. The room was clean but can barely fit the bed in it. No mini fridge, no wardrobe (tiny four hangers 30cm box sticking to the bed), no place to keep to bags or else you will have to jump over stuff (people actually leave the bags at the reception) Internet was very good, and the rooms are cleaned daily (even when you put the don't disturb sign). You HAVE TO leave your key at the reception so they no when you are not there. Overall, I wasn't bothered but will never go for the same again

This is a 3 star hotel but for the price, comfort, location to the train station and restaurants, and helpful reception, it suited us just fine. The room was even larger than I expected. We appreciated that the hotel made an effort to get us in our room in the morning rather than the usual check in time. Great lighting too for my wife to put on her makeup.

Clean, Convenient Hotel in a Busy Area
We close this hotel because of its proximity to Gare Saint Lazare. The price was right, it had an elevator, the reception was helpful, room was nice size for Paris, and it was very clean. We had only to walk a few blocks to find a nice area of restaurants. Our room looked onto a small park where a soup kitchen is set up on weekend evenings. We watched many men come for soup and bread. Once the soup kitchen closed, we watched the area become a parking lot for motorcycles. Someone made a poor choice by parking his car here. It was quickly equipped with barring. This isn't one of the classy arrondisments of Paris, but we certainly never felt threatened. A lot of construction work underway too.

Train transfer overnight stay
Needed a very convenient overnight place for a trip arriving at Gare St. Lazare and departing at Gare du Nord next day. Location perfect, and neighborhood was fine (unlike around Gare du Nord which is kind of a rough neighborhood.) Wifi good, but had to crawl under desk for outlets. Bedding a bit aged, but comfortable enough.

Super location!
I chose Austin's for the location. Within 2 miles of all the sights I wanted to see. Also there is a Monoprix a few minutes away so you don't have to spend a fortune on food. If you don't want to walk somewhere there is a taxi stand just up the street. Also a mini-market for cold beer. But there is no ice! The desk clerks were very nice and helpful, but the wi-fi was not good. Sometimes I would go to the lobby and use their computer which was fast. I had a great stay!

Excellent all round, with only very minor niggles
The location is excellent in that is in a very central and main area called Saint Lazare. And to add to this it is right next to the side of the main station in that area. When you come out just turn right and take the small pedestrian crossing and it leads straight to one of the side entrances into the mainline station ! And you can the Saint Lazare is a hub station in that many lines go through it, making it easy and convenient for travelling. Only downer in the area and not really a fault or something the hotel can do anything about is that the both ends of the street and square area does seem to have some unsavoury characters hanging around there from the evening onwards. Can make it feel unsafe for female travellers in particular, but it is a busy area so should be ok. But then this could be true of many areas in Paris unfortunately. Everything else was excellent, although the room did seem to be a little on the small side and did seem to be very warm, to the point we had to keep opening the window to cool it down (AC and heating were off). Also small note to the hotel, it really would be better to provide real cups for hot drinks and not plastic cups. These just aren't very suitable for hot drinks.

The room and bathroom were clean, but very small and could use a face lift. The hotel staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about how to get places. Huge metro and RER train hubs are across the street. Extremely convenient for guests who are planning to take the metro around the city!

We stayed at Austin's for only one night as we were in Paris for a short time and needed something close to St. Lazare train station. It was literally right across the street, the gentleman at the front desk was friendly and pointed us toward good restaurants. Room was small and bed was kind of hard, but still slept very comfortably. I would recommend for short stays. Good location.

Good overnight for St Lazare Station
Very convenient to the St Lazare train station -- across the street. Small rooms typical of Paris. At first i couldn't find the television promised in my reservation but then happened to look up and there it was -- above the door of the closet, flush with the ceiling. Could really only be seen if lying in bed. The building nearby is being renovated (mid-Sept 2014) and so one could hear the jack hammer and lots of construction noise until about 6 at night and then presumably after 8 in the morning. I had an early train so I was up but others could well be disturbed.

Great Stay in Very Convenient Location
Great hotel. We had stayed in another hotel in another area a week before and, as we had been on the move and walking a lot for over 12 days, were sold by the reviews that is was clean, convenient and located near the rail station. All of this was true (though the train station is rather large so there is still quite a walk to the Metro but at least it inside and near platy of places for coffee). The train for Versailles runs from literally across the street, close to the Louver and a very nice shopping district as well as many other areas that are the must sees for tourist. Will definitely consider staying here again!

A Fine Little Quaint Parisian Hotel
Tiny rooms but typical of Parisian hotels (as I understand it). This place is old and quirky but we'd return. The room decorations and bedding et cetera seems old but charming in that "we are in an authentic Parisian hotel" sort of way. The hotel is staffed 24/7 with someone that hands you your key when you return (you leave it with them). The breakfast (not worth 10 Euro) is in a small basement area.

We have stayed 2 days and luckily it was for tourism otherwise the room would have drove us crazy of how incredibly SMALL it was, bathroom barely fit one person, it was very expensive for the service rendered and the staff seemed very unhappy they had to deal with English speaking people, then at the end of your stay they let u know that breakfast is not included in the price and it's 10€ PER PERSON PER DAY!!!!!! And that is for 3 pieces of bread and 5 types of cheese and coffee..... In my opinion that is not enough! Advertising breakfast everywhere but nowhere mentions it's not in the 150$/night price....... Good location next to the train station but there r better hotels out there for the price charged.

the hotel is very very small, The elevator is really small and my room was a double bed room and it was very small , the bathroom is very small , I even hurt my elbow in the bathroom by moving cuz its small , they have only 1 lady to clean all the rooms, there breakfast is a joke, they had 3 boiled eggs and orange juice and milk and some cereal , I booked this hotel based on the 3 stars the hotel has, also the pictures of the hotel inside and out is not the same cuz the Rooms looks big in the pictures , but in realty is very small ..i don't recommend it at all I would paid extra money to be out side the area be close to Eiffel tower and other places, anyways
