The hotel, room and bathroom were extremely clean, spotless, lovely and comfortable. Requests for service were responded to slowly. We had a suite which I recommend as the regular room is quite small.
Overall, it was a good experience and the staff was kind and polite. If you stay in this hotel, a car is recommended, unless you want to use Uber or a taxi.
The metro and bus are nearly right in front of the hotel, but it will take nearly an hour or more to get downtown. By Uber it’s about 40-45 minutes to downtown.
The neighborhood around the hotel is older but decent & parts are being updated, while other parts are in a state of disrepair. The area is nothing special like downtown Paris.
I prepaid, so I saved about $600 on the 8 day price, but we had to pay Uber fees daily, so it was not a huge savings.
No restaurant on site, but limited room service & breakfast that was very good. There are some decent restaurants that we discovered nearby while walking around the neighborhood, including an excellent seafood restaurant. These restaurants are about a mile away or more, but easily walked to.
A pharmacy and restaurant is across the street and a shopping mall is about 2 miles away. There is also an excellent fresh food market in the area, about 1 1/2 -2 miles away in an adjacent neighborhood, where we bought food for snacking and breakfast.
Overall, it was a positive experience. Just be aware of the distance from downtown. It’s 1 hour away from CDG.
