Oh my gosh was this great
Location, quality and communication are the three key words. The flat is so conveniently located in relation to the most visited sites in Paris plus its proximity to Rue Cler and all of those restaurants and shops. What is not walkable is easily reached by a nearby Metro stop. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The quality of the accommodation is outstanding. While on the small size the efficiency with which the space is utilized is excellent. Beds were very comfortable, lots of hot water and a private patio - all combined for an amazing stay. Our communication with Venie far exceeded other Vrbo hosts. She communicates expectations clearly and up front and was responsive to inquiries in a very timely manner. All three of us fell in love with Paris again and that is due in large part to “flat”. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

A week in Paris
We had a wonderful stay!! The location is amazing and close to many of the wonderful sites such as the Eiffel Tower and Les invalides. The host is a fantastic communicator and made the process easy🌺🌺 the apartment was very neat and well stocked. She had a list of restaurant recommendations and we tried all of them!! After a few days getting morning coffee and some fruits and breads; we were like neighborhood insiders. It was the perfect place to stay💕

Lovely flat with beautiful amenities and a gracious hostess. The location is fantastic with loads to eat, drink and see within easy walking distance. We enjoyed the courtyard and my son loved the loft bed. Pack light if you're staying in the bedroom - stairs can be a bit tricky with a bag. Enjoyed the towel warmer, thoughtful decorations and travel books. Venie is was graciously flexible with our arrival and departure. Read all of her instructions carefully - loads of info and well thought out but good to prepare ahead of time. Would love to stay again - a bientot!!!

Perfect Location and Helpful Host
This flat is in the perfect location in the 7th for all Paris exploring, sightseeing, and eating. Right outside is Rue Cler which is an experience itself, with all major sites in walking distance, and easy access to transit. The flat itself is very cozy, with all the amenities a couple needs to relax and regroup. Vénie was extremely helpful, kind, and accommodating from check-in and through our entire stay.

This apartment is a little oasis just off Rue Cler - small to be sure, but giving fantastic access to a wonderful neighborhood (and the surrounding city). The host was very communicative and provided some excellent recommendations for all our needs.

Gorgeous!
Arriving in Paris and walking into a lovely private patio and then going in to the cutest apartment ever. Near the Eiffel Tower. Down the street ( maybe a block or so) is an entire street of small shops. ( food, flowers, bakeries, and more) Really the perfect apartment and location. Communication was lovely throughout and made the trip so enjoyable. We hope to return to Paris and stay here again!

Perfect pied-à-terre for your stay in Paris
First, Vénie, the owner is a gracious, patient and kind host. She goes to great lengths to ensure travellers feel like guests in her home (which in fact they are). Her English speaking and writing skills are excellent so there should not be many issues for guests who primarily speak English and/or have limited French skills (such as myself). She is also very responsive and willing to assist guests with recommendations, reservations etc as much or indeed as little as desired. This flat is well-located in the 7eme and literally around the corner from the Rue Cler district which has everything from dining to various take out options to markets and grocery stores depending on your peference. From the flat, we walked to the Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, and even the Musée d'Orsay & Louvre. If that seems too far, you can easily arrange a taxi, Uber or take public transportation. As outlined in the description, this flat would not be good for people with any mobility issues whatsoever. The stairs to the bedroom are quite narrow and the loft requires using a ladder. The space I think is probably better suited for 2 adults and 1-2 children. We had to schedule our showers to ensure everyone had hot water for 3 adults. As noted elsewhere, the main method of communication is the VRBO app or website, so I would strongly advise to add your service's travel plan while visiting. Of course this step will also aid with using your phone for information, directions, Ubers etc.

Cozy Apartment in ideal location

Michel booked our home in spite of our recommendations about size and accessibility. Then, they couldn’t use our bedroom and preferred the ground floor convertible, which is a Deluxe Chesterfield very comfortably designed as a bed… for one person! However, we felt sorry for them and proposed a refund. Michel didn’t answer to us. We regret that he preferred to leave a biased review, since there was not even a TV advertised at that time. Now our travelers have a big screen and many channels to enjoy.

Rue Cler is the best
This is my second time staying in the area of the Rue Cler market, and it's my new favorite area of Paris to stay now. This small apartment is exactly what you need for a Paris stay. Nicely furnished, with good attention to detail, with a lovely patio for enjoying your morning coffee. While there is really only one bedroom downstairs and the second bed is a tiny loft, we made it work. It would be perfect for a couple to use the space. With temps in the upper 90's during our stay, we were worried about the lack of AC, but the patio is cool and you can create a cross breeze during the day. But again, the real plus for this place is it's location. Close to some very good restaurants, a supermarket and the Metro. Communication was excellent from the host as well.

Amazing Paris Stay
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. The flat was perfect. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Beautiful outdoor terrace to relax in after exploring Paris. Location excellent. Close walking distance to many attractions and good restaurants. Also Metro right around corner. Venie was the perfect host and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Do not hesitate to stay here, you will not find better!

Updated apartment in a great location.
Very handy central location. Short walk to Eiffel tower and many restaurants, and short rides to many museums and attractions. The apartment is updated and well decorated. The back patio is a bonus if the weather is good. The steps downstairs to the bedroom are very tight, so if you're not very coordinated, I'd look elsewhere. We were a couple with two kids. The teen slept in the loft, and the nine year old slept on the small foam mattress on the dining area floor. The washing machine worked, but we wished there was a dryer. Overall, for the price, location, and amenities we were very pleased. The owner was very clear in her instructions and responded promptly to questions.

This apartment could not be located anymore central. Rue Cler just at the end of the street and left. You can get everything you need. Cheese, pastry, wine, produce, chocolates and good restaurants. The Metro station super close. The hostess always prompt to return your messages. The apartment was fully equipped. Coffee, tea sugar, salt pepper. The tub was deep. Great soak after a hard day of site seeing. I highly recommend this apartment if you want to be central to everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, (close to metro stations and grocery stores, great food, and a fabulous gelato place and of course the Eiffel Tower) and the place is charming. It is also on the street level which was nice. The whole process was seamless and Venie is great to work with. My only minor issue was the sleeping cot my daughter was on was not to comfortable for a 16 year old, would be find for to get kids. Thanks for a great stay.

Cannot beat the location!
We had a fantastic stay at this property. It was as advertised and exactly what we needed to facilitate a perfect trip to Paris with an 11 & 12 year old. Convenient jumping off point to walk the city or access the metro. At the end of a long day, no need to figure out dinner reservations or food for the next day with the incredible shops of Rue Cler outside your door. Eat in the private garden, pack a picnic or head to a local cafe. Easily walk to the parc every night to take in the twinkling lights. Vénie was communicative throughout the reservation process and our stay.

Adorable place near Eiffel Tower
Wonderful hostess, adorable and cozy flat in a perfect location. Place was clean and Venie was extremely helpful. Close to mass transit and TONS of great restaurants. One note - there is only one bedroom to go with a small loft and sofa bed. Also - there is only one toilet and bath/shower (not two). For a couple or a family of three it’s wonderful. Four is a bit crowded. Overall - would highly recommend.

The perfect location!
A charming property in the perfect location. Amazing restaurants and the Eiffel Tower are walking distance. Just around the corner are multiple patisserie and boulangeries. Our host was very helpful and the flat contains whatever you need if you plan to do your own cooking. Highly recommend it!

Great little place in a wonderful location!
I loved that this apartment was on the bottom floor so no stairs to drag our luggage up. It had everything we needed and was just around the corner from Rue Cler - which was perfect! There was even an Aldi grocery store where we picked up hair conditioner and other small things we didnt pack. The host was very communicative and made sure we made it okay. Not sure if I put the address in wrong or if that is what came up in his gps, but our Bolt driver dropped us off around the corner. Luckily there was someone around to point out that we were just one street over.

Ideally located in a safe neighborhood close to major attractions, transportation, restaurants and shoppes. This flat is small, but very clean and bright with charming urban decor. The host writes and speaks English quite well and was very responsive to all questions during booking and stay. She also pointed us in the direction of lovely restaurants and museums. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Perfect place to visit Paris
The apartment had the perfect location to visit Paris. Walking distance to the École Militaire, le Champ de Mars, and the Eiffel Tower. The place was also located conveniently next to a closed street where we could find amazing fruits and vegetables, boulangerie, fromagerie, and pastries. Four minute walk to Ecole-Militaire metro station and steps away from numerous restaurants and bars. And ten minute stroll to the Eiffel Tower. This flat is super clean, well-appointed and perfect for 2-3 people. If we come back to Paris, we’ll stay here again!

Love this place
We stayed at this flat for 9 days in April. It is an absolutely wonderful location. We enjoyed stepping out our door and easily walking to all the wonderful things to see in Paris. In between, we had everything we wanted just around the corner on Rue Cler. We went out for bakeries, markets, carry out, gelato, or dined in restaurants. The metro is just a short walk. Could not have been better. The flat itself was very clean, had everything we needed and enough comforts to make it cozy. The high ceilings, windows, and light décor makes it feel spacious. The neighborhood is quiet for a peaceful sleep. Venie was easy to communicate with, helpful and responsive. We would definitely recommend this place!!

Wonderful apartment in great location!
This was my family's first visit to Paris and we had a perfect stay in Vénie's apartment. It was one of the cleanest places we've stayed in and was just as described in the listing. Vénie was an amazing and responsive host. The location was also fantastic, with Rue Cler just around the corner with many delicious food options. We will definitely try to book here again when we return to Paris! We loved our stay here!

Lovely flat, dissatisfying communications
A friend and I rented this apartment for 4 nights with the reservation in my name. This is a gorgeous apartment in a great location. Accommodations were very comfortable. Communications with premier host Venie prior to our stay were very friendly and informative. At Venie’s request, I agreed early on to do all communications in the Vrbo app, which ended up being very challenging. Our stay was immediately preceded by my iPhone being stolen in a nearby country. I acquired a temporary phone and installed the VRBO app, which proved to be very problematic for communications overall since there were limitations with the new phone and with my friend’s phone (she was unable to install the app on her phone for me to use, which Venie had requested). Communications became very time consuming, and unfortunately unproductive between Venie and my friend (who was only trying to help by contacting Venie via text). There were many miscommunications and misinterpretations that could have been alleviated through allowing more direct means of communication. I gladly paid Venie what she was asking for the additional time spent on my reservation. While I believe all involved had good intentions, there were harsh words towards my friend that were unnecessary, only creating more problems and overall dissatisfaction.

Perfect for Eiffel Tower
This apartment was the perfect landing spot for our Paris vacation. A short 10 minute walk gets you to the Eiffel Tower, Rodin Museum, and Invalides. Rue Cler is just around the corner. The Metro (Ecole Militaire) is around the other corner making this a convenient location as well charming. Venie was very accommodating to all of our requests. She was a perfect host. We loved staying in her quirky home.

Very cozy, great place. It was a wonderful experience for our family of 4. We had space for our 2 kids and a separate place for the adults! Wonderful apartment
We really enjoyed our 2-night stay in this lovely apartment near the Rue Cler. The apartment is in a fantastic location. It is only a 5-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower with easy access to great restaurants and stores, but it is also extremely quiet because one entrance opens onto a small side street and the other onto a private courtyard. It was very clean and exactly as advertised in the listing. The kitchen is also well-stocked with everything we could have needed, including a Nespresso coffee machine. The beds were also very comfortable. Finally, we really appreciated Vénie's kindness when we faced some unexpected personal issues that affected our booking. She was truly a pleasure to work with.

Incredible flat, incredible host
This flat is located nearly on the incredible Rue Cler, where you can find amazing shops and cafes, and near the Eiffel tower. The flat is clean and very comfortable. However, the most incredible aspect was the lovely host, Venie, who was very accomodating and friendly. She provided recommendations of local restaurants, and offered us to join with her and her friends and family for a pre-new years dinner. The flat was amazing, but the experience of meeting Venie and her friends was perfect! Couldn't recommend this listing higher!

An incredible stay!
This property was exactly as listed and the bedroom isn't as claustrophobic as is listed. The apartment is in an incredible location and has everything you need within a block and the metro is just a 5-minute walk away! Vénie was an incredible and responsive host and understanding when we had some hiccups during our travel. I am sure to return here when I come back to Paris.

Having been to Paris a few times already, we appreciate the location of this property - close enough to the tourist attractions, yet "livable" enough to provide a glimpse into the local life. Rue Cler, a street literally around the corner, is lined with restaurants, cheese shops, chocolatiers. On Sundays there's even a small flea market with lots of interesting vintage finds. Venie is ultra responsive over email, and quite articulate. In person she's animated and witty. Most importantly, she always did what she said she would - whether it was to fix our WiFi glitch or to provide timely check-in instructions. Overall, a great host.

What a nice trip to Paris. The flat is clean cosy and functional. His room located downstairs is quiet and not claustrophobic as it is illuminated by the ground floor. Let's not forget the small courtyard full of plants which is absolutely exceptional. Paris is at our door. Located in a quiet area it is possible to visit many things on foot.
