This was a great, affordable place to stay for a few nights. We brought our own soap and shampoo, as we had read reviews beforehand about those not being provided.

Good place but several drawbacks
This place is a good deal for the price. It is clean and in a good location but there are several drawbacks: 1. the check-out time is very early at 9.30am which is very unusual; 2, upon return to the property there is a bag check like in a youth hostel. You can't even bring a bottle of beer or wine into your room.

its a very nice and clean hotel and the price is convenient... staff are really good I stayed there with my friend for one night and the area is close to subways the room is small but good for the price we payed ... air conditioning didn't work but it wasnt a big issue for us... I think if we informed the staff they would have found a solution overall it was a pleasant experience and I recommend this place..

not recommended
The central heating is down in my room and they didn't fix it but only gave me a small heater that didn't really help. This hostel kind of hosts large groups of school students every day, so it's very loud and noisy at night and during the breakfast it's a long line and often run short of food / drink. Also, the checkout time and breakfast time are super early.

We gave you extra heater and you have blankets in your room.The FIAP is an international center of stay. Indeed we are welcoming a lot of students, groups, individuals, etc.The reception is open 24/24 - 7/7 if you have any request or if you need us to come up to reduce noise.The main breakfast is delivered till 9am but you can use your ticket for a speed breakfast at the bar till 11am.We would be pleased to welcome you again.Best regards

Spacious and accommodating
The rooms were so spacious which was lovely, our room that fit 4 had a large bathroom with 2 sinks and 2 showers and a separate toilet room in the room. They had a fan and 4 windows so we could get nice air in. The lobby is huge and has a luggage storage with so much space. There is a security guard at the door making sure you are actually staying there. There are 3 modern elevators. The breakfast room is kind of hidden but they had a great selection of breakfast foods with plenty of food for all. The orange juice was weird tasting though. Staff were fine. No soap to wash your hands, and no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom.

Great if you are a young traveller as this is the focus of the place. Rooms are big but have not TV nor AC nor anything else. Just the beds. The desk personnel was helpful and freindly. Breakfast was just ok, we arrived half an hour before closing and there was no coffee nor some of the food items. Bfast workers were just trying to finish their shifts and acted as if the service has already ended.

You get what you pay for
The AC unit didn't work. The receptionist provided a fan. The kitchen staff were rude. My son took a bowl from the cereal table for fruits. The lady took the bowl with harsh behavior. In turn my son used 2 small bowls. This kind of attitude sucks. Hotel management should train their staff better. I ended up yeiling at the stupid woman.

Ist time i booked a hotel that dont have a complimentary toiletries ( shampoo, soap and conditioner) and im not very pleased with the staff - not hospitable.

Kept this Kiwi happy; a great stay.
Great value. Second stay here confirmed my very favorable opinion of the facility. A very high standard of cleanliness, good breakfast, spacious rooms (superior to most Paris hotels) and excellent, friendly, helpful staff. The facility provides a laundry, spacious lounge and bar/cafe area, offering a good range of edibles. Good linen and superior bed comfort. Close to two Metro, eateries, supermarkets and a generally present area. Kept this Kiwi happy; a great stay.

People are friendly for simple sleep over night
Only provide a small piece of soap, bed is not very comfortable, I have two twin beds but the gap in the middle made it not very comfortable to sleep in the middle. If you stay in B, then you have to carry your luggage all the way to your home. Didn't try common facilities.

Dear George, Thank you for your last stay with us. Indeed most of our rooms have twins beds, but we do have few single rooms with a large double bed. Soap and shampoo are not included in the room however we provide it at the reception whenever guests ask for it :) The reception is always at your service for any assistance requested. Next time do not hesitate to ask us and to try our common facilities (self-restaurant, garden area, bar, etc.). With warme regards

After booking and paying through Expedia, they continued to try charge me further. Initially the full charge and then the taxes. Vending machines were all pretty much empty and the one that wasn’t would take your money. No opportunity to grab a bottle of water.

well placed quality surprise
Delightful place. Services adequate, not fancy (no toiletries, tea/coffee facilities or TV, but that just means more peace of mind) furniture and room/bathroom design is on high level. Spacious, bar and activities make the place lively and convenient, breakfast is very good, wifi is good, it would have helped to have signs that you can hang on the door when you don't want room service so that towels are not wasted unnecessarily. The location is very good. Overall - a very pleasant surprise.

This is the second time that I have stayed here and although the hostal is clean, the rooms are good for the price and the location is very good. I have to give a low rating as several things disappeared from my room the day before I left. I reported it to the staff who so far have not contacted me (its been 3 days so far) with an update regarding this issue. So unfortunately I'm quite disappointed.

The hotel was an effective place to gather with a group of students and stay for a couple of days. Breakfast was adequate, rooms were clean but simple. Our room had two twins end to end as opposed to a double but it worked. No A/C so it was a little warm even in October! Staff was helpful. Laundry facilities came in handy. About 10 minute walk to Metro station.

Loved FIAP
The room was basic but very comfortable. No frills but spotless and totally adequate. Loved the lobby and food services! The patio behind the lobby as a place to chill was awesome! I would definitely return, great location!

It’s a different type of hostel, favoring the sharing with other people. The facilities are great and it’s not far away from the metro station although there is not much to do in the area at night and being in a neighborhood everything closes quite early

Even though the hostel rooms are simple, they have everything you need. The shower was hot and with plenty of water pressure! The breakfast was terrific...fresh, and with a good variety of choices. The facilities at the FIAP are good....coffee shop/bar and a restaurant on site that offers good value meals. My room was on the street side of the building and there was a lot of street noise throughout the night, and as it was a warm night, I needed to keep the window open. Otherwise it was a good experience.
