Good location, very walkable but the room is tiny and we didn’t get a balcony. Much dirtier and smaller then in the pictures

The Familia Hotel was in close proximity to the train & there were many restaurants nearby. The room was small but it was a 2 star hotel so that’s to be expected. Staff were friendly & efficient. Would stay again because of the location.

This is a charming small hotel on the Rive Gauches. Staff is friendly and English is spoken. Rooms are immaculate. The shower was the best of my 3 week trip to Europe. Rooms are small but I have stayed in much smaller ones and paid more. The breakfast was good, although for the price, I’d you’ve got the time you may enjoy a cafe just as well. Easy one block walk to Metro and buses/taxis easily available across the street.

Absolutely lovely! The room was gorgeous, clean and cute with a sweet balcony. Staff were incredibly friendly and super helpful - an absolute delight. Lots of great places to eat and beautiful streets to wander nearby. Walkable to most sights and plenty of stations nearby. Would definitely recommend for service and stay. We loved it!

The Familia Hotel was great. We had a wonderful stay. The employees were helpful, the room was nice and the location was amazing. Everything was perfect. There were coffee places and restaurants nearby, a cool bar across the street, a small supermarket, bakery and pharmacy on the same block. The two metro stations were just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We walked to other nice neighbourhoods. It was all very convenient and safe.

Good stay
Triple room on the top floor was clean and had great views. Loved the little balconies. Fantastic location. Bathroom smelled a little of sewage. Even on a hot day, it was plenty cool.

Perfect Hotel - Excellent Location!
Our family had such a lovely stay at Familia Hotel. Location was fantastic- walking distance to Notre Dame and the Louvre. The lift was helpful, the rooms were very comfortable, with excellent beds, and we even had a balcony and mini-fridge. The cleaners really go above and beyond when servicing the rooms and everything was sparkling clean. Guest services staff were kind and gracious from checkin with Wilson who was friendly and efficient, to helpful Fatima the breakfast staff, and the lovely lady working the front desk in the morning (sorry, I didn’t catch her name). We will absolutely seek out this hotel for our next stay in Paris and you should too!

This location is great - short walk to Pantheon and easy bus access to other sights If you are looking for quiet, this is not the place - several restaurants and bars are very close and very noisy but fun area The rooms are very small with limited amenities Breakfast is a cost but a great deal- I recommend

The room was pretty small however I appreciate that all Paris hotel rooms are small. The staff was super friendly. Easily accessible by metro and several great little cafes nearby. I would definitely recommend it

The staff were great, the location is very easy to get to via transit (about 2 blocks away from the metro station). The complimentary breakfast was a basic French breakfast, could not complain. The shower has really high water pressure which was nice, but finding the correct temp was a bit of a task. Very satisfied with our stay at this hotel, will definitely consider returning if I ever visit Paris in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years and it remains charming . It makes me feel at home. The beds were clean and comfortable. The staff helpful and friendly. The area perfection. Beautiful stay.

Hotel Familia review
My stay was pleasant. The location of the hotel is terrific; a popular, but not too busy main street , close to 2 Metro stations., and close to many tourist attractions in that Arrondisment. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. All of the staff were pleasant.

Absolutely rotten
I don’t like to complain but I feel I have to warn others about this place. The place is horrible. The rooms are so small you can’t open your suitcase and when you walk into the room you’re already against the wall. You can’t even open the bathroom door properly because of how small it is, it’s dusty and I’ve got an allergy to dust so it killed me staying the one night that I did. It has none of the complementaries a hotel gives e.g. coffee, water, etc. The guy at the desk when I checked in was pretty rude. Although the woman when I checked out was ace! She was so nice. They don’t provide small toiletries and their towns are a joke. They’re so small you can’t even wrap them around you. As for the comfort of the bed? It’s uncomfortable it’s hard as a rock and the so called pillow they gave was so flat and small that it felt like I was sleeping on the mattress if you can call it that because it felt like a rock. The hallways are so small you can’t move your suitcase and when you come out of your room you’re face to face with somebody else’s door. My stay here was absolutely rotten. I want to thank the kind lady that was there when I checked out because her kindness made me feel a little better.

Hotel closed. Need refund/voucher. It’s only fair.
I have stayed at this hotel before. It was wonderful. A perfect small hotel and a great location HOWEVER We were to return this last week. The hotel was closed. And they would not refund our money. They could not provide the service that we paid for. It cost us about $2500. This is wrong. If Hotel Familia changes their mind and at least gives us a voucher, I will happily change my review.

Miniuscule rooms
I know it’s Paris but the room was very small. Not totally clean in corners too. The 3rd bed (for our son) had giant sofa pillows but there was literally no where to put them... So we squeezed them under the bed. The only good thing was a bath. No coffee etc in the room. Lift was minuscule. I had paid upfront & was still charged for my room, which wasn’t my room the lady thought she heard 43 when in fact I had said 53 (3 times). I’m still waiting for this to be returned into my bank. :(

Very well situated little hotel right in the middle of the Latin quarter. A typical hotel of Paris , little rooms and tiny hallways. We had the 5th floor the first time which was not easy with all our luggage but offered rooftop views of Paris ! The second time we had the room on the ground floor which was bigger. Do check which level you are on if you are of a certain age with a lot of cases. The day staff were lovely and very helpful. They made our stay that little bit more personal .
