The junior suite is not a suite, it’s a tiny room with a mezzanine. The mezzanine (bed) can only be accessed by a steep ladder which will require the occupants to be young, fit and agile. The bathroom is tiny and not convenient, only skinny people will be able to use the shower which will not accommodate anyone wearing more than a L size. There is no room to place any big piece of luggage.

Property doesn’t disclose some rooms require access via a ladder to the bedroom. Not all facilites advertised were in the room and when provided were not clean No smoke detectors. Bedroom in reclaimed roof area so exit via ladder and 2 flights of stairs in emergency.

The continuous noise behind the wall makes me hard to fall asleep. I searched around where the sound is from, and figured it out it might be some equipments/pipes of the building behind the wall of bathroom.

Johan room
Please be mindful when booking if your unsure of negotiating step stairs, as this is the case if you are allocated the Johan room. The bed is located in the mezzanine level of this room. The sofa bed is a tad worn - ok for sitting on but not so much to sleep in. It would also mean a smaller living space to use the bathroom or kitchen if the sofa bed was used. Bijou & compact sums it up for this room.

Overall quite a nice little hotel/apartment suite in central Paris. Reasonably clean and modern fittings throughout. Although the floors seemed to be purposely rustic/Mediterranean in design i.e. dusty :-) While the location is central Paris it is worth noting that its still a 25 min tube/bus journey to the major attractions near the river but the immediate locality has some lots nice shopping and eateries. While we had a 2 bed apartment for a family of five it was a very small 2 bed apartment with the second bedroom stuck up a loft with a precarious ladder. Would have preferred a more comfortable room for 5 but nonetheless the staff were nice/friendly and cleaning was done daily to a good standard.

It was very clean.I recommend this if you have a big families.It feels like home.The only thing they only have a fan. No central air.Bathroom was clean with sauna.

Although not having carpeted flooring, the staff were understanding as my daughter lost her passport along with the keys. Be sure to not lose your key though! It takes circa 30min to get someone to open your door, and there’s not always someone at the reception!

A little tight on space but i believe most of paris is like that. They efficiently used their space and everything offered q very clean, great quality apartment. Staff is amazing here very friendly and accommodating. Excellent stay i would highly recommend.

Very Disapointing!
After flying in from airport, our Uber dropped us off at front wall and gate. We repeatedly pushed button with no one replying. This was at 11:30 am. We knocked and tried calling the phone number on our reservation that told us it was not in service. After 20-30 mins. someone walked out the gate and we were able to get into the outdoor space. Saw what looked like a shed which was the office. We checked in and left bags. Our reservation said we could get our room at 3. The office person said not until 5. We were able to get the code for the gate at least so we could leave and go about our day in Paris. Came back around 9pm and were able to get key for room and get unpacked and showered. Had a very early flight the next morning and left at 05:30. No one in shed/office to check out with and give key, so we just left key in room. In addition, this area of Paris was not near as nice as where we had stayed earlier in the month, and yet the price for what we got was too high. We ended up taking an Uber to go back to another central part of the city where we had previously stayed. Very disappointing!!

Okay hotel very small room as you would expect
Close to Montparnasse Station about 10 minutes walk to metro stop Gaite. The next Street Draguere has many shops. The room was on the second floor and no elevator. The room was very small but that is Paris so was not unexpected. Good area to stay in, airconditioning was good though when we arrived the management tried to put us into an unairconditioned room

Deluxe Suite - quiet and spacious!
Wanted a place to stay that had a bigger open area for a few friends that we're coming round so we could sit and relax rather than a hotel room that is notoriously small in Paris. Upon arrival, the hotel staff greeted me at the gates (they spoke fluent English) and after a quick check-in process showed me to the apartment, followed by a quick run through of what the apartment contained and how to use anything. The Deluxe Suite had a rather large open area, 2 couches and a separate table and chairs for dining. The bathroom contained not only a shower but also a sauna and jacuzzi. The apartment is located off the main road and is gated so there's a feeling of extra security.

Clean and reasonably priced hotel and suites.
We enjoyed our stay. Our room had character with a very steep narrow ladder/stairs to a loft. No extra space, especially in the wc, but it was fine for us. Could have used a fan for the excess condensation from the shower!

Nice area but awful service...
The place in itself is ok, the area great. But the management there is terrible. I booked 2 breakfasts when I checked-in for 8.00am with the receptionist. The day after, they never came... I called them up and the call is redirected to a call center to someone who is not in the premises... Breakfast came finally one hour and a half after... Good thing I was not coming for business... Also, when we chekced_in, the receptionist assured us that sheets and blankets where in the room for the bed-couch. When we came back to the room after dinner, we found out that there was no blanket... And the reception closes at 22.00... Impossible to reach them to ask for one... I think future guests should know about it.

It was cold, decrepit and they messed up the booking. The staff were helpful but there wasn’t anything they could do about the decor. We were also left with only two duvets for three beds for the first night.

Perfect for families.
A great base for exploring Paris with a young family. The apartment is in a lovely quiet area with lots of local amenities: restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. It's within walking distance of Notre Dame and Luxembourg Gardens.

A rubbish dumpster hotel stay away
I have booked this rubbish hotel for 5 days but the surprise was when I came to the hotel. Never be fooled by the pictures on their website it is totally 180 degrees deferent. When we saw that we are practically be living in a dumpster we decided to check in to a another hotel lucky we found a real 5 star hotel. Please stay away from this hotel. It is not even worth for 1 hour not a full night.

Very nice hotel!!
Very nice hotel with large and clean rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood was very nice with a good choice of bars and restaurants. Would stay at this hotel again if we went to Paris again.

Great hotel for a neighborhood feel. If you like boutique hotels but are traveling with a family and on a budget, this is a great choice.

Pleasant Stay in Paris
We were a family group of four adults and three children. We arrived early but were accomodated in one apartment until the second was ready. We used nearby shops to stock the small but efficient kitchen. Enjoyed walking through the neighbourhood to the local Metro to tour Paris. Although the neighbourhood was safe, security was evident with password protected outer gates to the courtyard and again to the building itself with a key to your room. Our rooms were clean and well cared for. We did not take advantage of the generous offer of a guided tour of Paris. The staff was polite and helpful. In fact, we had looked at booking a large taxi to the airport online at 90 euros but the staff got us one on the morning we left for 75 euros. There is a well stocked bar fridge in case you forget something, milk in our case one morning. All in all we enjoyed our visit to Paris and Helzear is one of the reasons. No worries about our sleeping. Thank you Helzear. We would highly recommend Helzear to anyone who wants to stay in a quiet yet convenient location.

Charming secret home in Paris
Overall wonderful experience, staff very courteous and professional and attentive to needs of the customer. Organized place, clean, just like a tiny house with furniture, television, wi-fi, and kitchen for cooking (includes dishes soap), large bathroom (includes towels). Comfortable beds. Loft was fun for the kids. Cute, secure and private.
