Small but comfortable hotel in an iconic Haussmann building just off a main road. Close to Metro line 4 Château Rouge and only a 15 min walk from Gare du Nord. Good location for the Sacre Coeur and Montmatre. The lift can take one average sized adult plus one large bag and is perfectly fine. Decent breakfast run by friendly and helpful member of staff. Hot and cold drinks are available all day and were much appreciated.

The rooms were small (which was expected) but almost too small for 2 people to comfortably move around in. We had 2 rooms - only one had AC - the other did not and was uncomfortable. Hotel Internet was OK - had to work out the allocations for devices as it was not as open as other hotels. Breakfast was good - continental assortment with hot items (eggs/sausage). Not familiar with the area when booked - would not book again for this area. Transportation was convenient.

Regarding the size of the room, it's announced in the room description, but if you realize after arriving that you would like a larger one, don't hesitate to inquire at the Front Desk about the possibility of an upgrade. As for our hotel wifi system, it is designed to ensure the privacy of the guests using it, which is why it allows only for a specific amount of connections for a specific amount of time. Our experience at this hotel was awesome. The staff are exceptional and went above and beyond to assist my Mum and I on vacation. Food recommendations, pharmacy, supermarkets, bus routes, you name it. I can't thank the staff enough. They found my Mum a great doctor when she felt unwell and allowed us to check out later to accommodate us booking an unexpectedly early flight home. Special thanks to Jaan, Nadia and Romaine for being amazing.. Thank you so much!

We got the room with a balcony and it was fabulous! It has AC, it was clean and quite. It was the perfect room for two nights in Paris. It was a five minute walk to the Metro station and the staff were fabulous! I can't recommend this hotel enough!

It was very cute and a wonderful size for our stay. Everyone there was very accommodating, and helped us find wonderful restaurants to eat at. The only thing I’ll note is that as an American, we were not used to leaving the window open at night, which would not have been a problem, but the street was very loud. We noted that it was much louder than the streets in other neighborhoods.

Friendly staff, small room that needs a little wor
The staff were helpful and friendly, taking our bags early. The room was smaller than expected, in the pictures the smallest room you could still access the bed from each side which we couldn't The bathroom was tiny and squashed in, I couldn't use the toilet without having the door open and couldn't fit my shoulders in the gap so leaning forward The tv was broken only a couple of channels worked, fan was broken in the room, no tea or coffee in rooms but apparently due to covid. The rooms carpet had a lot of stains, could do with plugs near the bed, a mirror on the desk/dressing table Good location for travelling around, was fine for one night but wouldn't stay any longer

Was there for business. Patches of damp in the room. It's an old Parisian building so put it down to as much. Lift is tiny and doesn't fill one with confidence. I assisted you myself the moment you had an issue with the accommodation, let you know I understood the room you booked (although each detail you had issues with were clearly mentioned online, such as room size, pictures of the exact room arrangement you received, our services, etc.) was not to your liking. I suggested several solutions, a room switch, a free upgrade, then offered a full refund when I understood you could not be content, found a close-by partner hotel with a better rate you had with us, using my connections, directed you to this property myself, once more. I am speechless that you would leave such a review. Please consider that this kind of disgraceful behaviour has consequences on our family property, and each member of my staff, who is shocked of this ordeal. I hope you will make things right. Very quaint - staff were lovely and the location was perfect. Not too touristy (which I love) and was close to stations so we could get around easily. Fantastic place, would recommend for couples or single travellers.

The neighborhood it was in was not the nicest but the hotel and staff made up for it! Although the room was a little small, you could not beat the price we got. The hotel staff spoke English so that helped a lot and were very friendly. The metro was a 2-minute walk and got us from place to place so that was very convenient. There were multiple bars, bakeries, and restaurants that were nearby and really good. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again when I visit again.

Great little hotel
Great service from an amazing staff. Hotell room was nice and cosy, a spot on 3 star room. Free coffee in the reception between 11-11, must say the elevator/lift has be the smallest lift I have ever been in, but it all is a bit of the charm of Paris. The location is great, not in centre of Paris, but only 3 minutes walk to the Metro and within minutes you are down smack in the middle of Paris. We did walk from the hotel to city centre, a really nice walk although a bit cold due to it being December! haha. The staff really makes this hotel stand out, absolutely amazing. Speaking English, Spanish and German!

Small overnight stay in Paris
Expensive for what it was but big capital cities are getting like that. Very friendly welcome, easy to access from the metro station, quiet and reasonably comfortable. But perhaps the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in with a lift tucked in between the tight circular staircase which was only just big enough for me and a small staircase. If you’re happy with no frills, this will do just fine for a night or so.

Regarding our location, we're in Montmartre, which is the only famous area of Paris to be in the north of the city instead of its center, but thanks to line 4 of the metro, which has a stop only a block away (Chateau Rouge), the center of the city can be reached in 10-15 minutes. As for any dodgy characters you may have seen nearby, we're right up the street from the local police station, so rest assured that our area is safe. Also, while it's true that due to the historic architecture of the hotel we do not have AC, we do have a fan in every room. We're very sorry that our hotel couldn't meet your expectations. Near to The Train Station - Far from Chaos
The hotel is a just few minutes walking from Gare du Nord and the Sacre Cour. If you want to stay near the train station but surrounded by good restaurants and far from the chaos is a good option. The receptionist staff is really supportive, however the kitchen staff is always like in bad mood and the breakfast was not all ready on time. Please be aware that this hotel don’t have A/C.

This hotel has its own pros and cons. Pros: 1. Great location: Subway is about 1 mnt walk and you can reach to all places to visit via the same. Very close to sacré-cœur. Nearby great restaurants. 2. 24 hours check-in: It helped cause we checked in very late in the night due to flight (around 1 am). 3. 24 hours open shops nearby 4. Beds are comfortable and cosy. Cons: 1. No restaurant in hotel: There is no lunch/dnr food service in the hotel. u have to go out to buy the same. If you don't know french, can be a bit hectic to understand what do you want to order. 2. Room 112: Its on the ground floor and its not a proper room. We have to request for a room change. 3. Bathrooms: very narrow, can be a bit of trouble. 4. Elevators: no secret, but it can carry only one person at a time without your luggage.

Finally, I'm sad that you didn't like the first room that we gave you, but as you said yourself, we then provided a different room when you requested one. Nice and clean . Great location. Friendly staff. Breakfast was cheap however, could have been a little more elaborate.

Room and bathroom were small but clean. Bathroom well finished but not much room between sink and loo - would not be suitable for larger guests. Would book again

Pro: close to metro station and mont marte Con: world's smallest elevator - only fits one person at a time. Not very sound proof.
