I loved loved loved our stay at this hotel. It is a small boutique hotel with an amazing location and outstanding friendly service from reception staff. They were always available and so helpful. I requested a blanket to go do a picnic as stores were already closed at that time and they were so nice to find something for me to take. We stayed an entire week and I have to say I slept very relaxed because they made the hotel feel like home. I also needed to add one more day to our reservation and the concierge was so nice to help me with the booking and help me to keep my same room in order to not have to move all the lugagge, I'm really grateful for his help. I also needed a clothing steamer as mine broke on the trip and I needed it to steam my wedding gown for a photo session, and voila, they loaned me one to use which saved me. They also have a barber shop in the lobby which was perfect for my husband to cut his hair, and it was a great haircut. Also they have a small coffee shop which is connected to the hotel which can be very convenient for anyone who likes to eat breakfast. Also it is located around several restaurants which open until late, and a beautiful park all walking distance. The president's place is also walking distance so there is good security around. It was a really good experience and we would definetly stay in this hotel again. Thank you everyone!!! :)

We absolutely loved it here. everything was so charming even the little lift . the front desk staff were fabulous. a 1 min walk to the gardens and 2 min to the Champs Elysees. so many many eating options around and everything was excellent ,including prices. 5 min walk to the subway either Franklin or Champs. be aware that you have to leave your key with the front desk because it’s an actual key and for security purposes you have to leave it behind. also if you use the minibar, you get taxed for your entire stay- not worth the city taxes for a bottle of water or juice.do not use it!!!

Is the best place I stayed in, I travelled a lot,this hotel is one of the top hotel, In terms of cleanliness,safe,quite and walkable distance from shopping stores and restaurant on the champs elysee,and the stuff was great and helpful. My son and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The rooms are big enough, free non alcoholic minibar replenished everyday. Clean and nice sheets bed was also nice and big. The elevator is small as with some older Paris establishments but it was not a factor.

This is an excellent property - great location in Paris. Wonderful dining options within 500m of the front door. Very helpful staff and well decorated rooms. Will definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was very spacious and we loved the balcony. The only thing I wasn’t too keen on was that you had to give your room key to the staff every time you left the hotel.

Super friendly hotel in the heart of Paris close to shops, cafes and restaurants. Our only complaint was at check-in they said mini bar was free and included in the reservation. At check out we had a 57€ charge. Apparently only water, sodas and juice was free-everything else had a cost. This was never explained fully at check-in and felt blindside by this. There was also nothing in writing in the room about what was included in the free mini bar-all items were in the fridge together

The property was excellent for our needs - Great location, great staff, clean. The room was basic but what I expected. My only complaint about the hotel was the internet and wifi reception - it was very choppy and often did not work. I would definitely stay there again.

Location of this property was perfect for the things we wanted to do - just off Champs-Elysèe - but enough streets in that it wasn't an all night street noise place. The staff was phenomenal! Helpful with directions and very friendly when we would come back to the room. Modern room with clean decor and very clean daily upkeep. A great place to launch your Paris exploration from!

I booked this stay under the pretense that there was air conditioning as the listing outlined. When we arrived, it was clear it only had heat. We slept with the door open to get some cool air but it’s a bit loud on the street. Great location tho!

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Mathis. Our room was on the 4th floor with a Paris balcony. The room was a very good size. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the location was perfect for us. We walked everywhere during our stay. Felt very safe. Would definitely staff here again.

Amazing location and extremely friendly staff. Close proximity to Avenue Champs Elysées and multiple metro stops. Rooms were very spacious and breakfast is delicious. Will return and highly recommend!

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Mathis for 4 days at the end of October. The proprietor and reception staff were gracious and very helpful. Breakfast was so good every morning. The hotel is in a great area with lots of restaurants, and Christie’s is right across the street! I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel Mathis is centrally located which made it easy to get around to all the attractions. The rooms were a good size with daily servicing. Front desk were friendly and always keen to help.

The front desk was so kind and accommodating. Gave great recommendations and stored our luggage safely when it was time to checkout. Nothing was too much trouble and they were patient enough to teach Americans some French phrases and make reservations for us. Will definitely stay again!
