In this era of bedbugs, you don't have to worry about the Moliere. The hotel is immaculate. The location is central in the 1st A, but it is on a quiet street so there is no street noise. It is an easy walk to the Louvre and the Orsay Museums. The rooms are spacious and well designed. There is a small refrigerator in each room so you can walk to the local market, two short blocks away, and get some items to store. The staff is very friendly and professional. My one quibble is the electrical system. When you turn off the lights at night, it disables most of the electrical outlets, so it is difficult to charge electronics overnight. The hotel provides plug adapters if you need them. Don't expect your electronics to charge as quickly as they do in the US. This is unlikely to happen. We have stayed at many hotels in Paris throughout the city. The Moliere is at the top of our list now.
