The place was very close to metro which is convenient to travel to go from landmarks of Paris. They gave us clean towels everyday and make our room tidy 🙂 Highly recommended

The reception person was indeed a lier. He said that our room with private bathroom has a leakage problem while he was sold it to someone else that was checked in before us and gave us a room with shared bathroom for the first night, while we were charged for a room with private bathroom.

Disapointment in Paris
There were no lift. Could not Get a Coffee other Than machine and if they did not havé change than you went without. Hôtel is nosy: inside and outsider. Thé hôtel is clean. Room although small are clean but very sparcely one: chair- bed-small TV on thé wall and à little desk.. not worth thé Price Paid per night in thé Area thé hôtel is located: I havé seen Better Price for Nicer hôtel on Better Area also.

Decent room, good location, but noisy as hell. Rooms appear to separated by a single layer of atoms so noise permeates very easily and very often. Had to listen to building works, random tapping/rattling (all through nights), guests leaving their alarms on, obnoxious singing, and other forms of human behaviour not able to mention.

First of all this is a hostel!! Nowhere online did it say that. We didn't have our own bathroom, and the showers were on a different floor. The hallways were so narrow and had no lights, it did not seem safe. Neither did the neighborhood.

I ended up not staying at this hotel even though I have paid for the stay. When booking hotel through orbitz, the address was not shown. when I googled hotel Viator, google showed that it was in the 12th arrondissement, and that's what I needed. After paying for my package, I discovered that I had paid to stay at the 17th arroundissement! it would have taken me one hour to get to the 12th district, which was unacceptable. Since it was non refundable, I lost out and booked and paid for another hotel in the area I wanted.

Location is ideal and staff are friendly, helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Very reasonably priced for an authentic Parisian experience. Will definitely return to this hidden gem in the future!

Don't trust the photos
The pictures have got to be the worst misrepresentation I have seen yet. The pictures do NOT reflect the rooms at all. And you have no idea when you are booking there are no showers or toilets in the room, and finally they had the cheek to say the room was 200 Euros and down to 50 Euros, only to charge me 58 Euros.

Good enough for the price
The room and the area were a match for the price we paid. Front desk staff great. Narrow, winding staircase to the room, but not nearly as many steps as many in Europe. Room in old building was small but clean except for a tiny bit (3"-4" area) of mildew in the shower. Bathroom was tiny. Stepping over a front plate and down about a foot to exit the shower is a bit unsafe. Light in bathroom too dim and not above mirror. Room had a window. Metro (subway) stop about a block away. Restaurants nearby include wide ethnic variety. (The Afghan one we loved did require reservations but they worked us in.)

Don’t stay here!!!
Extremely hot hotel, the picture on travelocity is false advertisement the hotel does not look like that. No a/c, mold in bathrooms, you can hear all the noise from the other rooms and i woke up to a female screaming like she was murdered and the next day a man was chasing another with a knife. Bad side of town as i was told by my uber driver when i decided to leave hotel viator to a cleaner, air conditioned , safer hotel! Don’t stay here!!!!

Nice simple hotel in a good location.
Staff were very nice. Location very good, well connected with Metro. Room was fine, nice enough size and clean and modern. However the view was a well looking down onto reception with other rooms across from you. Because of this, it was very stuffy and if you left windows open you could hear people being loud morons across from you on the morning of May 28th 2018. Even a fan in the room would have been welcome. Wifi not the best but worked most of the time. You get what you pay for with the place.

You most likely won’t be staying in the rooms pictured. It’s a tiny, cramped sterile room. Shared bathroom smelt like cigarettes and was the size of a cupboard - no room for a sink even (so don’t be fooled by the one in the picture), shower was tiny also, and not clean!!! The walls are as thin as paper, you can hear people cough, talk etc. - this made for a very unpleasant sleep. The room was clean, and staff were helpful showing us places on a map. Negatives however outweighed the positives. Location is not central - 45 mins with metro to get into central Paris. We had booked to stay 4 nights, and only ended up staying 1.

Clean and quiet
Clean and quiet. There are stairs to walk up and down to use the showers. There is a sink in the room. The shower stalls and toilets are on different rooms and floors, so that was a little inconvenient.

Pros: Good location a few meters from the metro station, bus stop, and taxi stand, and with a few good eateries around, and little shops/supermarkets. I felt safe (but I'm from NYC) Very good price for a budgeting group of friends backpacking through Europe. Clean sheets, relatively comfy bed The male staff were nice, and quite accommodating when we checked in and out at ungodly hrs. Also staff gave access to microwave. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Cons: Small room with a sink in the room. Just not quite sanitary for me The bathroom was shared, and just not very clean. It was uncomfortable getting from room to bathroom (down a floor) especially when people are in the corridor doing repairs with no advanced warning given. on the 4th floor with a winding staircase cumbersome with luggage Room walls are too thin. had to turn up the tv to drown out the active couple in the next room. ----If you are backpacking and just need to lay your head down and feel relatively secure, and get good sleep, and don't mind the shared bathroom. This will do just fine. I travelled with my younger sister stayed for 2 nights.

The hotel is ok, the staff is some friendly but some need to improve, the price is higher than it should be, basically they don't care if you come back, nobody said to me to come back again or thank you for staying at the hotel, but overall it was ok you get what you pay for and when it is a first visit to Paris you miss French hospitality there

For the money it is ok
Location is great, very close to more than one metro station, plenty of shops, cafes, bars right around the corner. Staff is nice. No elevator, WIFI is crazy expensive 1€ hour 10€ 24 hour? Sorry that is crazy and it is really slow wifi if anyone else is using it! I dont think they changed the sheets and instead just made the bed. Little soap dispenser in the bathroom. Heating is not adjustable and not freazing but not really warm (typical french style if you were in an apartment). You have to leave your key at the desk when you leave, I guess that is ok but kinda werid if you go in and out a lot. In the end if you are on a budget, then it is a good choice, but I might just go somewhere with free wifi next time im on a budget.
