This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The feeling is like a bed and breakfast cozy hotel. The welcome the lady at the desk gave us was excellent. One of the day we stayed was raining and we didn’t have umbrellas . We asked her where we could buy one and she lend us two umbrellas. She went far and beyond what is expected. We had the breakfast they offered for 9 euro and it was fresh and delicious. My husband could smell the break being baked each morning. The room was so comfortable and the area quiet. No light came through at night with the black out drapes. The shower had great hot water and the hair dryer dried my hair fast. I only have great things to say about this hotel. Will definitely stay here again. We were close by the Eiffel Tower and shops. We are taking a piece of Paris with us!

Older property, small rooms, no hair dryer, tea/coffee options or refrigerator in room. But close to attractions, transportation and suited our needs for short visit in Paris. Staff very nice and helpful.

We were exhausted from our flight and the wonderful front desk woman was able to get us in a room 3 hours ahead of check in! We were very grateful. It's walking distance from the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. It's on a quiet street and our room was not in the main building, it was overlooking the central courtyard. It was cozy but not suffocating. My only complaint is that the bathroom smelled bad.

Poor Stairs/ Elevators
The hotel has the worst elevator system ever. It opens up mid way up the stairs on each floor. So you have to walk down the stairs after exiting the elevator and then close the door and walk up. Good luck with your luggage. Location is awesome. Rooms are decent. But the stairs and elevators are massive issue esp if you have a mid to large size bag.

Budge hotel with good location
Good location and it is only 5 minute walk to Arc de Triomphe. The nearest metro station is Victor Hugo and 10 minute walk to Charles de Gaulle - Etoile station. There is also a supermarket - Carrefour nearby. You cannot expect any service from the service. The twin bed room is quite small and the space only allows cabin size luggage. And you cannot avoid stairs even there is an elevator in the hotel.

Nous sommes un 2 étoiles et à Paris malheureusement les chambres ne sont pas très grandes... Nous n'avons pas débité votre carte,il s'agit uniquement d'une pré-autorisation faite afin de garantir la réservation et c'est votre banque qui bloque le montant de la 1ere nuit puis qui débloque cette meme somme. Bien à vous.

The staff was extremely helpful, and the property is very quaint and equally cozy. The room we stayed in was cramped for sleeping 3, but space is of course always at a premium in such a large city.

We booked last minute and wanted to be close to metro with access to Eurostar and monuments and the hotels location was perfect. Super clean, staff was wonderful.

Great for a place to sleep, Super Nice Staff!
The staff was fantastic and helpful! They were both eager to assist us and made our short time there very nice. The rooms are very small. The shower was one of the hottest showers I've ever been in. It also had extremely high pressure. It was also very small though.

The room is extremely tiny. An 18-inch luggage can barely get in. There's literally no room to move in the shower room - you turn around your body you hit the shower room door. And this is 120 euros per night.

Clean with great staff, but extremely small rooms.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was clean, but was very small. I mean hardly any room between the wall and bed kind of small. The room didn't have anything to make tea or coffee inside of it. There also wasn't a secondary lock from the inside. Since there wasn't much room we ended up shoving our luggage against the door to secure it anyway. I thought all of this might be usual considering it was Paris, but we stayed at a different hotel on our travels home and it had everything one would expect from a hotel stay.

Pictures dont tell the truth. We didnt see the lovely garden or any amenities that are advertised for this hotel The alleyway was too small to even walk straight Bathroom was so small that I struggled to even stand in it Not recommended

Nice hotel, great value for money, noisy at night
Everything was very good about this hotel, except for one thing - I found it very noisy at night time, which meant that I didn't sleep well. The soundproofing is bad and in particular I could hear other guests noisy phone calls, people coming and going and ringing the doorbell at the reception area, and banging about kitchen type noises (it sounded as though staff were laying the tables for breakfast in the middle of the night and doing so quite loudly). My room (number 15) was close to reception so it might be less bad elsewhere. Apart from that the room was comfortable, clean, pleasant and good value for money and the staff were friendly and polite. Location was good, felt safe at night.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. I am travelling to Paris to visit a client and I appreciate that this is a very expensive part of Paris, but I have stayed in the hotel next door to this one for a lower price and had a better experience. The room of this hotel was very small, even for the small hotel rooms I had come to expect for this price range in this part of Paris. Although the shower room was clean, the shower cubicle had a broken door. But my main complaint is that the room's window looked out over and interior staircase, so anyone passing could look into the room unless I kept the curtains firmly closed all the time. There wasn't even a net curtain. To cap it all, when I came to make the tourist tax payment at the end of my stay (the main bill was pre-paid) they said that this could not be paid with credit card (which was a problem as I need to pay my expenses using the company credit card) and they would have to add an additional payment to the (tiny) tourist tax bill. This has never been an issue at any of the several other hotels I have used in the area. I won't be returning to this hotel.
