Please accept our sincere apologies for the service issues that you experienced during your stay. Though I must say I am surprised with your comments regarding the friendliness of the staff, the location and the languages spoken. All of our guests are extremely happy with our staff, they all think they are genuinely friendly and helpful, so I wonder what happened with you so that you did not find them friendly? What did they do wrong? Concerning the carpets and the lack of a dresser, we are currently shampooing all of the carpets and we are aware that our rooms cannot allow us to have a dresser in them, however it is also part of the Moxy concept to have an open closet with hangers.Then, for the free drink, it is a "welcome" drink for all our guests and we cannot allow them to have anything that they want at the bar since it is free. The choices are already varied with hot drinks, beers, glasses of wines or the Moxy cocktail. As for the walking distance, our location is one of our main advantages and that is one of the reasons guests stay in our hotel. Many restaurants, shops and attractions are close by, much less than a 2 hour walking distance. To give you a few examples, we are 5 minutes away from "Le Marais" neighborhood, 20 minutes away from Gare de Lyon, 25 minutes away from the Père Lachaise Cemetery, 25 minutes away from Châtelet-les-halles, 30 minutes away from the Notre Dame Cathedral, 35 minutes away from the Louvre Museum and it would take about 1h20 to walk to the Eiffel Tower - which is pretty far from our location - so many things are walking distance accessible.Finally, all of our staff speak perfectly good English (another thing our guests love and appreciate) and many other languages such as Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Romanian, Polish, Arabic...
