Unfortunately, our check in process was terrible. We had traveled all day and did not expect our rooms to be ready when we got there at noon so booked a tour and came back around 4:30pm. When we came at noon the person at the front desk told us she didn't know when our rooms would be ready because the family in them had a late check out. We did not need to be in the rooms until 4:30 so we didn't worry about it. when we returned at 4:30 the rooms were still not ready and we were told there was nothing they could do, the rooms just weren't ready. This is a 5 star hotel which charges 5 star hotel prices... check in is at 3pm. The staff was rude and unhelpful. We have stayed at numerous luxury hotels and have never had such a terrible experience. Not only were the staff unhelpful but the service for breakfast was equally bad. Cream for the coffee never came, the orders were not taken properly and we were overcharged both mornings. Overall we were very disappointed in our stay. The only very friendly staff was the doorman.

A gem in the 8th arr.
Rarely do you find a hotel that "checks all the boxes" for excellence as does this fine hotel. From the moment of check in to check out, this hotel is a real gem. The staff is top notch, the furnishings and the rooms are excellent. We loved our balcony room especially.

We arrived to check in at 3pm when we were told our room would be ready. We were told a Marriott member had our room on a “late checkout” until four pm and they would buy us a drink. Our room was not ready until 6pm. There were piles of garbage in front of the hotel and garbage under our bed when permitted to finally enter our room.

This was a mother-daughter Covid postponed birthday celebration. As we checked in we were informed that we were upgraded to better room and we had champagne and desserts waiting for us in the room. Super sweet!! Service was absolutely amazing and the location was just perfect especially since it was just the two of us. It was conveniently located to all the attractions that we had planned. We absolutely loved our stay at Prince de Galles and would highly recommend and looking forward on coming back.

One of the main reasons Prince de Galles is special, is it's staff. They are all very attentive, courteous and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable at every touch point. Great experience overall.

Made NYE that little bit more special
Very last minute trip to Paris for NYE and luckily found this hotel - it made the trip so much more special and everything about it was great!

Setting the standard!
We can’t say enough good things, and compliments about the hotel, specially about the staff. Paula from Front Desk was extremely cordial and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She noticed it was my husband’s birthday and she was kind enough to send a bottle of champagne and macaroons to the room. The room was spotless clean, the sheets super comfortable and zero noise! They personally gave us a tour of the hotel premises and walked us all the way up to our room and explained how everything worked inside the room. Best place we’ve ever stayed at by far. We always stay in five star hotels, all over the world. This place sets the standard.

Really nice location and rooms are quite lovely. However, I had an awful experience with the spa, I booked an appointment for hair and make up and called back like 3 coins later to cancel. They tried to wrangle me into paying anyways and the whole attitude was very gypsy like and un-classy. I was within cancellation policy. They let it go eventually but just a bitter taste...

Great service and location!
Incredible service. We arrived several hours earlier than check-in time, hopeful that we could store our luggage at the front desk and check-in later in the day. Upon our return, they had upgraded our room to a suite and had the luggage waiting for us. The location was amazing for sightseeing, shopping and dining.

Great stay as always
Weather wasn’t that great, but the hotel was lovely as always. Some works are getting done in the area, so might be quite noisy until 5pm. Other than that, it’s an excellent choice.

True five star
I have been to Paris many times but this was by far my best hotel experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The aminities of the hotel exceeded all my expectations. They have fantastic 24 hour gym for those who like to get in a workout while traveling. Room is spacious, modern and clean. Truly a five star hotel. Coming back 100%.

The hotel has been recently renovated and in terms of decoration and overall outlook, it ranks among one of the best in Paris. Unfortunately there was a problem with the A/C system, that due to the unexpected high temperatures in Paris, it could not cope with the extraordinary demands for cooling certain number of rooms. The hotel Manager has promised that by the beginning of 2019, the problem will be solved.

Nice Hotel in a Good Neighborhood
Very professional, friendly and helpful staff. We inadvertently left behind a valuable item in our room and the staff were very prompt and efficient in finding it and forwarding it to us by express delivery.
