This hotel has a number of pluses and minuses! Great location and cheap . Negatives were noise from the night club below every night. Not being able to speak French caused communication problems! Overall the positives exceed the negatives !

There was an extra charge to get clean towels. Front desk was opened from certain time to a certain time and whoever was in charge of breakfast didn’t speak any other lenguaje than French and was not even kind enough to wait for us to translate and try to communicate.

"Aparthotel" not for me !
We chose this location to be close to my sister in St Mande who is right above the Metro line 1. We originally opted for Ibis next door but it was full. The location is ok very short walk to the metro and plenty of cafes and shops around. We had no idea of the term "Aparthotel" which means there is no hotel service, no cleaning your room, no changing your bedding neither replacing clean towels. For a couple visiting a few days it's not convenient at all. They have a mini kitchenette as their " selling feature " but obviously we did not need that we just needed a normal hotel with standard service, clean towels please ! Also their complimentary breakfast ( if you choose the option AND paid for, so not so complimentary!) Has very LIMITED variety and is only for 2 hours from 7am to 9am, but wait, if you arrive around 8am ( an hour into the breakfast timeframe) EVERYTHING IS GONE, EMPTY ! And they will NOT REPLENISH. The next day I came early to see what the breakfast is all about: it's sad and cheap they only put a couple of croissants and pieces of bread. Did not even allow me to bring my coffee upstairs.Very unpleasant. The nightly rate is not even cheap ! I'd stay away !

very enjoyable stay
it is a very ok neighbourhood, really close to Metro Line 1 station Saint Mande, at one block away; very clean place, you have a kitchenette and everything was ok, it is just that reception hours are really few, so besides when we checked-in, we could not find anyone there if we happened to need something or to ask a question; first night there was no hot water, but later it came back. they offer you no soap to wash your hands with at the bathroom, so make sure you pack/buy a small one. also, there is no hair dryer, so make sure you get one with you. good matress and pillows, spacious fridge, good microwave; i think there is no air conditioning and when we wanted to let some air in, lots of mosquitos entered the room, so this could be improved; and a bit loud at night the street if you left the window open; there is a close Franprix (on the way to the subway-a bit more expensive) and an Auchan supermarket two blocks away (cheaper and bigger), you have restaurants and a hot dog and sandwich trailer in front of the hotel that is open till 12 AM. there is a pharmacy on the way to the metro; near the metro there is always a bus and taxi station; a fromagerie;very good free wi-fi connection; they have an elevator

Overall ok
Excellent just amazing location close to metro M1 and numerous supermarkets and boulangeries. The room itself didn't feel clean, the only downside I can recall. Full kitchen as described and nice staff. No idea why everyone complaining about check in process, ours was pleasant.

We arrived in Paris on a weekend and didn't realised it wasn't manned on weekends. We have to ring a number to get an access code for the keys. It worked out ok though but a bit inconvenient. They also gave us a new roon when I found that the sink stop was stuck. All in all it is not bad. Just be aware that the reception is only open from 9am to 7pm mondays to fridays and 9am to 12pm on saturdys. Close on sundays and bank holidays. Also no housekeeping provided so ask for the supply from the reception while it is open.

Nice hotel in a nice part of town
Nice hotel with plenty of restaurants around and a short walk to the metro. Excellent sushi place on the same block. They could provide more essentials for someone staying a week or longer.

No housekeeping. We asked for a trash bag since no housekeeping to take out trash, was told we had to buy by ourselves. We were locked out of our room 2 nights in a row for whatever reason and had to call some out of country number for temporary key since no one there after 7pm. And this happens around midnight cause we were out touring every night. This hotel was perfect for our short stay and provided us with an option to cook our own food as their was a kitchenette in our room. Some of the provided dishes weren't entirely clean but that was quickly fixed with a little elbow grease.

Difficult to check into.
It is a good place budget wise and relatively well located as well. However, please be aware of the location reported by Google maps. It is not accurate enough and may lead to confusions. The hotel is actually located in a corner instead of being at the middle of the street. Also, self check is required by using one of the machines by the door. Be aware as well that the doors require number codes to open and they are not available from the machine. Nor the phone number available in the "hotels.com" reservation connect you with anyone that is available out of working hours. All of this if you arrive late and its reception is closed.

Customer Service was apalling
The stay overall was ok. However I arrived after 7 and the reception was not manned, we had our car and were insured that we would be able to park in the underground car park even though we were getting there after 7. I called the emergency number to ask how to get in to be told that they didn't know and I could park on the street until Monday. There was nowhere to park on the street and when I told them this they said sorry but we can't help. After wasting the 1st 90 mins of my holiday trying to resolve I decided in my desperate need to go to a rival hotel who provided me with parking within 2 mins. My friend also couldn't get in his room as the keycard did not work and this took 3 hours to resolve!! Not the best start to our holiday.

Almost a good hotel for business stay
Free Wifi, so long as you're in the bathroom, else out of range. No smoke alarm fitted (illegal?). Hate that there is no-one on reception outside of hours 3pm to 7pm. If you have a problem, you're stuffed. But... apart from those things, a decent hotel, clean, quiet + friendly lady on reception (when she's there). To be more suitable for business guests, needs better range on the Wifi and later check-in.

The overall impression was really good. Spacious room, clean, comfty beds. Nice location in terms of connection to the other parts of city. Minus is the reception. It is not available 24hrs and when it is people working there are just polite but not helpful at all. One more minus is housekeeping - it's done only once a week and as we were staying for 6 nights we saw no one coming so we ended up without enough toilet supplies even though we asked for some at the reception.

Fijn ruim appartement op een goede locatie. Het metrostation van Saint Mandé is vlakbij, evenals de supermarkt (Franprix). Er zit een parkeergarage onder het pand.De buurt is veilig en gezellig. Er zit een restaurant naast het gebouw.

Wir waren von unserem Aufenthalt leider sehr enttäuscht. Wir haben ein Zimmer erwartet, das den Bildern entsprechen würden. Der Schlafbereich in dem Apartment war vollkommen in Ordnung. Allerdings sahen sowohl die Küche als auch das Bad deutlich in die Jahre gekommen aus. Zudem kam noch hinzu, dass das Geschirr nicht wirklich sauber war und überall ein Fettfilm zu sehen war. Das Zimmer hat seinen Zweck erfüllt, aber wirklich wohl gefühlt haben wir uns dort nicht. Wir haben es auch sehr bereut, das Frühstücks“Buffet“ dazu gebucht zu haben. Man kann hier wirklich nicht von einem Buffet sprechen. Es wurden lediglich kleine Croissants und paar Scheiben Toastbroat angeboten. Zum Belegen des Toasts gab es dann auch nur Butter und abgepackte Marmelade. Die 8€ für das Frühstück sind außerhalb des Hotels definitiv besser angelegt.

Horrible ! Nous avon dû changer 3 fois de chambre , la 3 eme la cuvette des toilettes était cassé mais nous avons dû la garder , Ballon d'eau chaude défectueux , 100 litres max pour vaisselle et douche , réfrigérateur qui tombe en panne et téléphone de la chambre qui ne fonctionne pas , accueil désert le week end , et les enregistrement se font de 15h a 18 h oui l'accueil ferme une heure plus tôt que prévu ! Aucun responsable disponible sur place et on vous invite à écrire un mail pour vous plaindre ! Et enfin l'on m'a raccoché au nez quand j'ai demandé le responsable ! 0/ 20
