"This beautifully appointed & newly remodeled spot was just what we needed to transition in to our vacation. We sat on the balcony in the morning sipping coffee, overlooking the scenic valley and ocean, and relaxing. This spot was close enough to the restaurants, tourist spots, music and airport to be a short drive but far enough not to hear anything but birds. Our hosts were very friendly and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!."

"I booked West coast private but due to a mix up ended up at the sister property South coast private. I was pleased with the apartment overall. It was comfortable, well stocked and beautifully decorated.There were lots of towels, beach chairs and good kitchen utensils. The property has a side view of beautiful Maxwell beach but it is very close to the street so at night you hear the ocean but also some street noise. "My husband and I recently stayed at the Hilton Barbados Resort, and overall, the experience was average at best. The bedroom itself was nice and comfortable, but the bathroom definitely needs updating. The bathtub never appeared fully clean, which made us uncomfortable enough that we chose not to use it during our stay. The beach is truly beautiful—large, spacious, and one of the highlights of the property. However, the service significantly fell short. There was no consistent poolside or beachside service for food or drinks, and staff were rarely visible throughout the day. The pool area also needs attention, as the concrete is visibly cracking, and the hot tub was out of service for the entirety of our stay. Each morning, even as early as 8 AM, there were no towels available for guests at the pool or beach, which was frustrating. As for dining, both Lighthouse Terrace and Beach Bar offered food that was average and did not stand out. Additionally, small details were disappointing—such as the weekend snow cone offering at 2 PM, which we attempted to enjoy, only to find they had already run out of ice. Overall, while the location and beach are beautiful, the service, maintenance, and overall experience did not meet expectations."
