This vacation home is nestled among the trees and overlooks the Lake of Shining Waters, featured in the novel Anne of Green Gables, and the pristine sand dunes of PEI’s North Shore.
Shining Waters Chalet is a beautiful 4 bedroom vacation home located in the heart of Park Corner, birthplace of Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of the novel Anne of Green Gables. A short walk along the lake will take you to a beautiful sandy beach.

Beautiful property, lots of room for entire family(7 adults). Four nice bedrooms, many comfortable gathering places inside and outside of chalet. Very well appointed. Gracious and helpful host. Breathtaking water views and beach. We all loved this place.

Montgomery's Shining Waters Chalet was the perfect setting for our PEI family vacation. We knew from the second we drove through the grove of trees to the opening that showed the beautiful home that we had made a great decision. It only got better from there when we saw the views and the wonderful home. There were a total of 8 family members (2 families) at the home for a week and we had the perfect amount of space to share a great vacation but to also have enough private space. The main floor had everything we needed, living room, dining room, well appointed kitchen, bathroom with laundry, and even an office. For sleeping, the two adult couples had the 2 upstairs bedrooms and bath, while the children (ages 8,10,11, and 14) had the two lower level bedrooms. They enjoyed having their own bathroom and living room to spend time in and hang out. However, we spent most of our time outside on the gorgeous island. The yard and setting of the home is phenomenal. The gorgeous deck overlooks Shining Waters and the ocean. We had the most amazing sunsets every night. We enjoyed the outside amenities; fire pit, lawn games, relaxing on deck, bbq, ocean and lake views, and an added bonus of being able to watch the horse and wagon rides across the lake every day. In addition, having a beach to walk to was amazing. The walk to the beach is about a 5-10 minute walk along the path from the house. It was not a big deal for our family and we rather enjoyed the stroll. The beach is beautiful and very private. We enjoyed spending early mornings and sunsets there. The home is a drive from most local attractions, but Park Corner is a great spot making you central to many locations. Paul was wonderful to work with from making the reservations, answering any questions that came up, and checking in with us during the trip. We always knew we could get a hold of him if we needed to, however we never had to because he seriously thinks of everything you would need to have an amazing vacation. The house is gorgeous, clean, and well decorated. There is everything that you would need in the home... everything! I would recommend this home to any family, couple, vacationer that wants a gorgeous home to spend their vacation on PEI. In addition to a gorgeous home you will also get great amenities, amazing views, helpful owner, and memories for a lifetime.
