The newly constructed Residences are a modern contemporary 2 story designed townhouse development with a West Coast Vibe. Featuring 1200 sq ft 2 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms an open concept living, dining , kitchen with all the amenities you will need for a comfortable stay.
The open concept main floor living room has a sofa bed that will sleep 2, a 50 inch TV and a cozy fireplace. We have provided an assortment of games, cards and puzzles for guest enjoyment. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs and an eating bar with 2 chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you will need during your stay including stainless steel appliances, granite countertop with an eating bar for casual dining/entertaining, there is a dedicated workspace with a desk, a half bathroom and in suite laundry on the main floor.
The balcony, located off the living room has a barbecue with table and 4 chairs perfect to relax and enjoy a nice meal and take in the beauty of the natural surroundings the resort has to offer.
The townhome has an energy efficient heat pump to keep the temperature regulated for our guest stay all year long.
Upstairs the primary suite has a king size bed, dresser, closet and TV with peek a boo ocean view and an ensuite with soaker tub shower combination. The guest suite has a queen size bed, dresser, closet and TV with a shower in the ensuite.
Resort amenities include: A seasonal heated outdoor pool, all season hot tub, fitness facilities and mountain bike rentals so you can explore the many trails that surround the resort/ Parksville area.
The private resort beach access is just a short walk from the townhome down a winding natural walking path on the scenic edge of Craig Bay. Please note it is only accessible during low tide. The final step to the beach is steep and rocky but well worth the walk as the beach area offers breathtaking views with miles of sand and tide pools to explore all day.
To make your beach experience more enjoyable we have included in the suite 4 beach chairs, a cooler, sand toys along with a sun shade and wagon.
There are several places to visit during your stay that are along Resort Drive close to the resort: 1)The popular Rathtrevor Provincial park and beach is a 3 minute drive from the resort. Take a walk through the majestic old growth forest and during low tide you can walk for miles on the sandy beach checking out the many tide pools with sea life and sea shells and you may even find a sand dollar. 2) Spoil your self at the Grotto Spa at Tigh-Na-Mara. Try the dip and dine it is 2 resorts over and a 5 minute walk from Sunrise Ridge. 3) For some family fun and entertainment visit Riptide Lagoon Mini Golf to see who can get a hole in one. It’s a couple minutes drive down the road from the resort. 4)The Parksville Community park is 10 minutes away and is home to the yearly sand sculpting event in July/August and has miles of sandy beaches including a large adventure playground and water park. It is the best place to watch spectacular sunsets. 5)A 20 minute drive from the resort will bring you to popular Coombs Country Market with world famous goats on the roof is a unique shopping experience with groceries, in store bakery, deli, gifts and cafe. There are several other shops to visit on site and the restaurant Cuckoo Trattoria and Pizzeria is a favourite spot to dine. 6)Visit the Horne Lake Caves Provincial Park it is 35 minutes from Parksville and offers guided tours of the caves. 7)Mount Washington ski resort and summer biking trails is only an hour drive from the resort.

Location is great, walkable to beach and ocean view from master bedroom. It’s super clean and has everything we need. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family.
This property was perfect for us. Very quiet with a very comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. We didn't use the community pool and hot-tub only because we were too busy walking the beach everyday and exploring the island. We would definitely stay here again.
Brand new condo that is furnished with everything you need for a vacation getaway, including board games and puzzles. The townhome is immaculate and perfectly organized with detailed instructions. Wonderful.
My sisters and I took my mom to the island for her 70th. This condo was the perfect location for us to explore Rathtrevor, Qualicum, Coombs…it was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed (stocked kitchen with dishes etc) and allowed us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. The beds were super comfortable and there were more than enough linens. The beach chairs, toys and wagon are a great touch!!

Beautiful, quiet, very clean, tidy and well stocked.
Owner had very good communication.
New surrounding construction blocking what would have been the original view was unfortunate and main entrance was not well marked.
We eventually did find our way without having to contact owner.
The check-in and check-out was very easy.
We didn't make our way to the community pool but it seemed very popular.
We had a very lovely stay and the location is great for access to the surrounding landmarks and everything we needed.

My sister and I recently had a wonderful stay at your condo. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, everything you could ever need was there. The kitchen is wonderful even though we treated ourselves and ate out for the most part. I did have my morning cup of tea before starting my day, I bought milk but didn't think to see if you had sugar just assumed there would be something, and no there is not. So be prepared if you need a little sweetening like me, bring it along! There was construction going on across the way, but it goes on mostly during the hours we were out exploring or on the beach, they were very good about shutting it down by 4:30, and not starting up till 8am.
Lovely place would recommend
Although Sunrise Ridge is still under construction, the Sandcastle Shores Townhouse was quiet and very well appointed. The four girls ranging in age from 8 years to 14 years loved sharing 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and I (the doting grandmother) loved my privacy downstairs on the pull out couch, with another bathroom and nice patio to sit out on at night. The kitchen has every possible appliance, cooking tools, and dishes. Nice dining room table that seats 6 people easily.
The highlight for me was the easy access to the trail to the beach with beautiful moon-rises each night and a full rainbow the one rainy day. The highlight for the grand-daughters was the fitness centre and the hot tub.
Each day we enjoyed a few different beaches, parks, forests, and other places in the Parksville/Qualicum area. The Bayside Cafe is a hidden gem for coffee, breakfast and light lunches.
One the nicest, cleanest, most thought out units we have ever rented. Everything one needs was made available. Close to the beach, shirt walk to the pool. Definitely will be stayed ng again in the near future.
Very well appointed, supplies meet all of our needs. All four of us would there again with out question. Thank you very much for providing us with an awesome experience.
