"There was a cockroach in the drawer in the kitchen (drawer for the forks and spoons). The blanket has stain. Check in experience is terrible I have to check in at a different place since the number provided in Expedia was inccoect number. I called Expedia for contacting the owner of the place and I received a response after one hour therefore I have to stay at a different hotel for one night and checked in at this apartment on the second night. "Overall, our stay was good. The staff could speak English, and were very helpful, helping us with directions, as well as problems with our Grab car. We were also given free bottles of water each day and a decent Indonesian breakfast. The room was basic, but had a large bed which was clean and comfortable. There is an open-plan shopping mall about 10 minutes walk away, which had a large supermarket and lots of eateries. "

"Hard to find the location. Not all know the hotel. I was lucky the trishaw owner knew the hotel. Surrounding is so dim at night but area main road many restaurants and interesting places. You need to take grabbike or else. Do not forget bring along "suitable international charger". The receiption gave his charger to me and I returned it after check out.thank you, unique house. The mosque also very close."

"Room was spacious and clean. Liked the small cushions at the sofa. The space for luggage bag is at the corner (hence not very convenient) and that area is quite dark. The sockets are good, no need to use travel adaptor. Had a pleasant surprise birthday card and towel deco from housekeeping Yuni. The toilet flush is quite weak and the toilet paper is very thin. The flush button is too low and too close to the bidet. Didn't like the hand held shower head, it's the type where it's not flexible and adjustable. Liked that the shower area has corner space for own toiletries. Breakfast has good variety. I had a surprise cake for my birthday. But the seating arrangement is not good, all tables cater for 4 pax, so solo traveler like me ended up at the high chair table and I knocked on the table a few times. Location although it's central, it's very hard to walk to nearby mall with the crazy traffic and useless traffic lights. And since I had food vouchers, I had my dinner most of the time at the hotel restaurant. Menu is a little limited, it would be good if there's more choices."
