"I enjoyed my stay there. Would have stayed longer if the price didn't change so drastically. The only reason we left is because Essence was cheaper for the weekly rates. It was definitely comfortable and although we took a room without a refrigerator and microwave we still had a comfortable stay. I love the convenience that they provide as far as the Dove body wash and hair products. They had everything else we needed. My fiancee and I were very happy. "This is probably the second hotel review I’ve ever written, but my recent stay at the New Yorker absolutely warrants it. Two things, in particular, stood out. First, the amazing staff. Besides the hotel’s prime location, the staff make you feel truly welcome. For example, the doorman remembered the name of my service dog. They consistently go out of their way to provide exceptional service with a personal touch. Second, the upgrades. Unlike other hotels that claim to upgrade my room but make no noticeable changes, the New Yorker genuinely impressed me. Without any request, they upgraded my room significantly due to my extended stay. The upgraded unit had three rooms, a terrace, a walk-in closet, two bathrooms, and a stunning view of Midtown. They got it right, and I’ll be booking with them more often."
