"Good location. Room was an airless windowless box. Like all Indian hotels it was worn out and ingrained dirt. The Expedia photographs show a decent room with windows and space what I got was room 202 and my pal 402. Both windowless boxes. The catering was awful unless you want some ghastly green brown liquid curry for breakfast.DIY toast was the best on offer for Europeans."

"When we checked in they did not have our booking, took one hour to prove that we booked. The rooms that were given to us were completely different than shown in pictures. On top, We paid for breakfast $7 per person for 6 people for 3 days, they didnt have any kitchen in their hotel. Still waiting for the refund. "Beautiful hotel. Had a wonderful stay and staff was amazing and took great care of us. Went above and beyond in helping us find services like tailors for quick alterations to suggesting place to buy things that were a little outside the Heritgae Walk marketplace as they knew we would get fleeced. Great help and advice in going above and beyound. Will recommend staying here to anyone. Location is great if you want to be in walking distance of the Golden temple and Jillian wala bagh, tge partition museum amongst other attractions. In close proximity to food and local vendors selling chai (tea) and maggi in the morning were the best part of staying in this hotel. The chai was exactly what we needed ij the cold mornings and the maggi hit differently in the morning in Amritsar. For a more western palette there is plenty available by way of McDonalds, Dominos and Subway within walking distance."
