Passekudah is a great place for sea bathing. Clear water and not too deep. The most special thing is very less waves here.

This is one among the famous beaches in Sri Lanka. Water is crystal clear through-out the year except in monsoon months. There are several star hotels along the coast where you can spend your holidays fruitfully. According to me, "Malu Malu" is the best accommodation though it is quite expensive. Sun bathing or hiding yourself under a Palmyra tree are very exiting ways of relaxing in this amazing beach. And also you can take a guided boat tour according to your interest. Probably, you can see lots of corals and variety of colourful fish while riding the boat. If you are lucky enough, you will be able to snap a sea turtle too.

The room was absolutely amazing, however being an expat of the country felt the staff were more attentive to the caucasian. And being the only patrons of the hotel that were non causcasian.
