10/10 Exceptional! (6 reviews)
We stayed in a type c property with two separate self- contained bedrooms which was connected with a dual lockable door. The facilities were good although some maintenance was required on the cupboard doors. The pools were nice although the tiles were coming off and required maintenance as well.

9.2/10 Wonderful! (1,002 reviews)
The Kuala Lumpur Journal was a good hotel, and I had no complaints about my stay. Overall, everything was fine, but I felt it was overpriced for what it offered. I would consider it an average hotel and would rate it as a normal, satisfactory stay rather than an exceptional experience.

This hotel proved to be a great choice for Kuala Lumpur hotel. Room was very spacious modern and clean. It was also very safe and quiet at night. Pool was great for someone who wanted to swim laps. Gym was very good but could have had a few more weight options.

"I’m genuinely confused how this hotel maintains a 4–5 star rating because our experience did not match that standard. To be fair, the bedding and towels were exceptionally clean, which we appreciated. And while even one or two cockroaches is not ideal, we are in Malaysia and understand that can occasionally ..."
