"There are simply not enough good things to say about this hotel. Wonderful location in the heart of beautiful Perugia. Lorenzo, Stefano and the lovely young woman at the front desk make up one of the hardest working, most pleasant and professional staffs in all of Italy. The hotel is so clean it sparkles and both the housekeeping staff and catering staff went above and beyond every day of our stay. We loved our time here at Locanda and we look forward to returning. "The room was clean, spacious and modernised…. The heating was weak, temperature rovered around 19C, on the cold side. "

"Everything VERY good except the choice of oppressively hot room or very noisy street (located between major traffic circle and Perugia's main bus terminal. Great staff. Good beds and showers etc. Above average breakfast buffet, except for the vending machines for coffee (no staff making). Bring a travel mug if you prefer American style coffee. Their only mugs are espresso or double espresso sized, not even cappuccino size available."

"The room was very cold, and despite raising this with staff, I was initially told that the heating was functioning correctly. After complaining again, the heating was eventually turned on, which was appreciated; however, the unit was extremely loud and could not be used throughout the evening. The walls are also very thin, and noise from neighbouring rooms is easily heard. The room did not include any tea or coffee facilities, which I would consider a basic expectation for a four-star hotel. I also requested an iron but was informed that one was not available and that I would need to pay €5 for a shirt to be ironed instead. On a positive note, the breakfast was of good quality and the staff were very friendly. However, I would choose to stay at a different hotel on my next visit."
