Hotel de charme irrésistible !

Hôtel de charme sur l'île de Don Daeng face à la petite ville de Champasak auquel on ne peut accéder que par bateau. Le transport est assuré par la direction de l'hôtel qui vous prend en charge au débarcadère proche ( une cinquantaine de m.) de la petite place du jet d'eau (lequel jet d'eau ne fonctionne plus). Si vous êtes arrivé par vos propres moyens, en voiture de location par exemple, vous pouvez garer votre véhicule en toute sécurité à proximité du petit théâtre de marionnettes. L'arrivée avec prise en charge sur la rive par la remorque d'un tracteur est évidemment inhabituelle ce qui pimente encore plus la situation. L'accueil est parfait, le personnel charmant et bien rôdé. La manager "food and beverage" parle anglais et le manager principal anglais et français, ce qui simplifie les relations. Le bâtiment principal qui comprend le restaurant, un bar et un salon est vaste, agréablement meublé et décoré dans le style traditionnel de bon goût. Il surplombe la piscine bien entretenue dans un environnement végétal luxuriant et reposant. Les bungalows de logement sont conçus également dans le style traditionnel de bon goût, spacieux et équipés de salles de bain confortables. La climatisation est parfaite. Pour les "accros" au numérique il est préférable de se rendre dans le bâtiment principal où la réception est meilleure que dans les chambres. Le restaurant propose des menus de qualité; le service est diligent et souriant. L'établissement propose des excursions.

Mekong getaway

A fabulous place. Well maintained, well run & the staff were super helpful & organised. Trips were good value, and also there is enough to do in the local area to while away a good few days. We stayed 4 & could easily have stayed longer. Restaurant was good, plus a local alternative just 10 mins walk away for an excellent value change of scene. Bikes available too. Highly recommended.

Cute place on river

This place is on an island and altogether it’s nice, quiet and relaxing. My only criticism is the room lacks a bar fridge and the restaurant prices are a little high. However they have a boat to take you across to the main town to eat which is good. The tour we booked was good and also the transportation from airport was great.

Un catamaran formé de 2 pirogues est venu nous chercher sur la rive du Mékong et nous a emmené sur l'île où se trouve l'hôtel. Personnel très accueillant. Piscine agréable. Belle chambre dans un bungalow double. Dîner obligatoire dans le restaurant de l'hôtel. ( le seul sur l'île ) Plutôt cher et qualité moyenne. Problème de distribution d'eau dans la salle de bain.
