She also offered advice regarding car rental options making our stay hassle free. The beach is a short 15 minute walk. "This small hotel (6 villas altogether) is an absolute dream. The location is great , in a quiet area in front of a nice little beach with views of the opposite island and also with 2 good tavernas at a short drive or walk. "Despite being in a small 'complex' of houses, this one is separate and more private than the others with lovely garden and shady terrace. A bit of a walk from the car park, but we soon got used to that. Eirini and Kostas were superstars with their care of us and the property. "We stayed in the 'presidential suite', which was a really lovely apartment, with a stunning view over the sea. Breakfast isn't worth it - you would be better off going down to the town and eating in in one of the cafés. The one serious problem with this place is its location - it is very difficult to find, and no matter what your GPS or Google Maps says, you should go to the town first, then drive up the hill. Also, it is a long and steep walk down to the town, and a real ordeal to come back...

"Located close to the sea in Grikos, it is a clean and quiet hotel. Communication was always easy and helpful. Beds were comfortable and small kitchen in the room is good for cooking simple food or a coffee. Airconditon was working well. The main attractions of the island are not in walking distance. You need a car (hotel has a private parking place) but also, there is good bus system and the bus station is 2 min walk to the hotel. Overally, we were happy to stay here and would choose again. "

"I traveled to Patmos with my 2 daughters via ferry. We arrived at 2am, and Nicholas and his son met us there with kind faces and a bottle of water. They drove us the short distance to the studios. During our stay, they were the most accommodating. Our rooms were clean and had everything we could need. I highly recommend!! They are the best. "
